I hate people that make their pets do things like these. Like the lolcatz or all the other funny animal pictures. they are obviously using these animals for their amusement and it's cruel. I found this on facebook today.
That's a pretty weak example of "animal cruelty"... It's a weiner dog, so they put a hot dog bun around it... Funny... I seriously doubt the animal suffered any life threatening injuries as a result... I mean, I'm all about taking care of animals and such, but, there is nothing of concern here...
Do you have any idea of what cruelty to animals really is? I didn't think so........ The pix here is a JOKE! The weiner dog isn't being hurt or abused. He's laid on a weiner bun - that's all.........
I'm not 100% sure, but I think those are nureongi, and Korean breed dog raised specifically for food. I had it once at a Korean restaurant in Tokyo. Pretty much tastes like beef.
I think it is a bit cruel, doing that to an animal, but since it isn't being physically harmed, then its not really that bad. If it was being made to do something that caused it pain, then yeah, that would be wrong, but wrapping a bun around a little yappy dog isn't actually that cruel, compared to the cruelty that goes on behind closed doors.
Do you wear make up? Well just stop and think about what those companies do to animals to make sure that your make up is safe for you to wear.
I always try to buy make up products that haven't been tested on animals. I find any cosmetic testing on animals to be disgusting and inhumane.
{sigh!} All the dachshund owner was doing was demonstrating that his dog was so small, it could fit on a hot dog bun...... that's the way I see it - nothing else - no 'cruelty' involved.........
Seriously? You have an awfully broad definition of "cruel". Today the waiter made me wait 10 minutes for my check. He was being cruel. And then someone bumped into me and didnt say "excuse me"! That was also cruel.
