    An assault by someone under the age of majority years ago is NOT THE ISSUE at this point. If that were the issue, then it's too late for the alleged victim to sue.

    The issue is whether Kavanaugh lied under oath.

    And, the alleged victim can't sue over that, because she has no standing.

    This needs to be investigated to ensure Kavanaugh isn't guilty of lying under oath on this and the other unrelated issue.

    No...those cases are not clear at all as to the definition whatsoever. Below from one of the case.

    all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners

    Note the court say nothing if one parent is not a citizen.

    The statute of limitations would prevent charging Kavanaugh and/or the victim suing him.

    The issue with Kavanaugh's nomination may end up being whether he lied under oath about it.

    How many far right wing and fully partisan sex offenders do we really need on the court, anyway?

    Isn't one enough?

    I would doubt that Kavanaugh would remember the incident. Bullies in high school seldom realize the impacts their deeds have on others. To him, what he did (if he did it) was probably not a big deal, therefore quickly forgotten.

    Then there is often the "She just asked for it" excuse.

    Oh aye. Also no doubt the DNC has already handsomely paid these #metoo accusers for 'discovering' their grudge against the man. But mostly I was thinking about other men -- and some few women -- hit with accusatory blasts from twenty to thirty years in the past.

    A polygraph test set up by her lawyer, of course she passed. We also don't know what the questions were. That's ignoring the fact they are unreliable, it's why they arent allowed it court.

    No one is past the statute of limitations for (pound)metoo accusations to be detrimental to ones life and career. The left tried this several times before, they will do it again, and again. Sen. Fienstien knew about this months ago, the FBI wont investigate cause its a lost cause to try and see if sexual assault took place 2 weeks ago, let along 30+ years ago. This tactic is being used because the left thinks they can stall until after Nov. when they THINK they will win the house.

    It is important . After 35 years, why did she just happen to now find the story worth reporting? Is it the sudden fame and notoriety she could receive? Was it not worth it before? Did some political operative pay her or convince her to come up with this story? How many times has Kavenough been vetted during his previous appointments and we have never heard this before? Wasn't the incentive high enough?

    Better question: Why do you feel the need to viciously smear a woman you have never met and have no idea about her character or whether what she says is true or not? Oh, we all know why. Because your hyperpartisan self feels that Kavanaugh somehow will make you life better. Newsflash: He and Trump don't give a dam* about you. Of course, however, they like their fans to polish their turds all the time. Illogical....
