    Having had the honor of serving in the US Army Medical Research and Development Command, I also take interest in reading/learning about things done by the military to advance the field of medicine. While this is designed for battlefield treatment of gunshot wounds in areas of the body where tourniquets are not viable, this clearly has great uses for the civilian population.
