I'm not sure what you're "not buying". Is it that you're having difficulty accepting that gun control is racist? Or just difficulty believing that the bleeding-edge liberals now hold that position?

They do get locked up...then they get out and do it again. Which is why liberal laws are a proven failure. Gun control breeds more violence. More stolen weapons. More jail time. More violent crime when they get out. It's a failed system.

That went way over your head. The guns in Chicago are EXTREMELY difficult to obtain legally. Hardest in the nation. But how do they have so many shooting deaths? Because gun laws are not working. Can't buy one? Ok, they'll steal one. Do you know how many shootings Chicago (liberal city with very liberal laws for decades) has had in the last year? In the last week?

Gun laws aren't working.

If you're caught with gun without a permit, you should go to jail.

So, change them to make them more effective.

If you're caught with an illegal fire arm, the punishment is 3-7 years in prison...These animals (gang members in Chicago) don't care about prison. They care about the gang life. It's a vicious cycle.

A poll came out this week showing Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler in a dead heat with his challenger. Sarah Iannarone, who forced a runoff in the May primary, has declared herself “the antifa candidate” for mayor.

 

What a trash city. It'll probably be Detroit before too long.

 

Is that a crime we punish with the death penalty? I mean, I can think of two high profile white guys who resisted arrest, one died by his own hand, the other didn't though people he loved certainly did. Are you willing to state that anyone resisting arrest is at their own fault if they get hurt or killed?

Much better footage. Clearly shows the guy was leaving peacefully, was ganged up on while doing so at the cries of "Get him" and "I'll f**in kill you", and when all these guys were on him he pulled his gun and shot.

I don't think anybody with a working brain needs to see the videos of riots again to realize that the word "protestors" is only a cloak for the words "violent criminal rioters". People who deny that truth assume you are a total moron and will consider that firebombs, flying bricks and looting are not crimes and those who do them are not criminals if they label themselves "protestors".

They are armed. They are violent, They attack indiscriminately. They have done billions of dollars in damages, they have killed, beaten people, and injured around 1000 police officers. I've yet to see a video of any of these "protests" that wasn't already violent or clearly intending to provoke it. You don't go to a peaceful protest with firebombs and bricks, or the tools of burglars and vandalism.

The purpose of these violent criminals IS to intimidate, IS to do harm to people and property and IS to destroy the values that built this nation- and the people who support them.
It IS to intimidate police and authority, so that these criminals will not be arrested- but those who resist the criminals will, and be labeled sick for resisting violence.

Lee Atwater has just stated and endorsed exactly that.

And the fact is that if the police fail to protect the general public and continue to shield the domestic terrorists, citizens will indeed have to protect themselves.
Historically vigilantes usually provides law before law came to a territory, or when law enforcement breaks down.
Right now, the sales of guns and ammunition are so intense that "Out of stock" labels pop up on everything. Anti-gun advocates are buying guns, because they know they can't depend on police to protect anyone, and they know the left is attempting to destroy police protection altogether. They watch the riot videos too- they know it will fall on them if this continues.
The only limit to these rioters violence will be the limit imposed on them by force- or there is no limit. Thank the liberals for that.

 

~ This is exactly what I am seeing where I live in a fairly "safe & sane" quiet part of Los Angeles. Very surprised and happy to see average folks wake up and realize they have a 2nd Amendment right for very good reasons.
I myself stopped in one of the local gun stores just to nose around ( guns are not my hobby ) and was told shotguns are on back-order as are certain popular models of 38cal revolvers. One clerk told me "Business is up - definitely."
