So? Who was the author of those words?

    Samoan Prime Minister

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-08-...-hits-out-at-climate-change-sceptics/10185142

But he was not referring to Trump

This time it was Australia that has consistently failed to address our emissions

Reducing combustion isn't going to happen. That would force hardship on people and force them to live by muscle and blood rather than by convenience. That's the part they are not telling people because it is not politically viable.

Has any leader expressed a disbelief that the climate is changing?

Changing or not it doesn't matter. Nothing is going to change.

I am sorry to say it but, there is no longer any point in denying what is currently happening so I do not. We have crossed a tipping point and will be seeing more dramatic effects over the coming decades, actually I am noting the beginnings every year with more obvious impacts. The rest of this decade will likely make it terribly clear to all but the most ardent deniers. It wont matter what we do at this point beyond preparation.

I could of course be wrong and hope I am...this however is very unlikely.

I don't think that any religious litmus tests are appropriate for selecting leaders.

How is that a dingbat idea.? Global Warming is caused by a rise in the atmospheric concentration of CO2 and a few other GHGs, CO2 emisions come from the burning of fossil fuels, other carbon fuels and land use practices. Life without them would be a bloody inconvenience.

Think how investment is skewed towards outcome that accentuates global warming, all because of particular pressure groups. That's the bloody inconvenience.

    Not clicking the vox link.

The quote you provided was allegedly said by Trump in 2012. I asked if any world leader has denied that the climate is changing. Trump was not a world leader then.

    Got anything post election?

No, it was a direct quote.

Did he change person after being elected? You've been given 115 skeptic quotes. That list was from a year ago mind you. He's attacked global agreement since.

It is your last sentence. We ARE moving away from burning fossil fuels and many places are doing so quite successfully. Hybrid cars are a common sight now and China is about to corner the market for electric. Coal fired power stsations are being replaced by renewables with battery back up. Now here is a shocking thought. An electrical grid with reserve!

Why not click? Because it does not agree with "Fake news Trump" or have you become enamoured with Russian Troll tactics? (Deny the bleeding obvious in the hope it will cause division in America)

Here is Trump claiming that the poles have more ice now

The question is simple: Has any world leader denied the climate is changing?

Trump suggesting there is more ice at the poles now would be more a suggestion the climate is changing than a denial of same.

My opinion of climate change is different now than it was in 2012. I have more information now than I did then. I can imagine trump has lots more information now than he did in 2012 as well. More than most people, in fact.

So are you now a believer in anthropogenic climate change?

    Always have been.

What I'm not a believer in is that we can tax our way out of it. Climate change is real, and man has contributed. Some crafty scoundrels are using those truths to run a FUD campaign to enrich themselves.

    Asking the question

So, are you going to concede that Trump has indeed denied climate change?
