If you are a Republican or a Democrat, and you think you can argue your way out of a wet paper bag, I want you to debate me.

    You pick the topic.

    I'll pick the resolution.

    You will lose.

I would but I think we'd find ourselves agreeing on most things...

Yeah, I should have stipulated that. It does need to be something we actually disagree about.

But then it wouldn't be a debate. Of course you'd win a debate if you're debating someone who is holding a position they don't really agree with. Just curious, do you think you lean more right or left?

I did say we would have to actually disagree, right? I'm an anarchist, or volanterist, if you will.

Sure. Remember, I get to pick the resolution. The resolution will be:

peoplevsmedia's left testicle holds an opinion that his right testicle does not hold.

    I will argue the negative.

In order to hold an opinion an organism or entity must be capable of reason.
The only kinds of entity, of which we have experience, which are capable of reason have a mind.
A testicle does not have a mind.
A testicle is not capable of reason.
peoplevsmedia's left testicle does not hold any opinion.
peoplevsmedia's left testicle does not hold any opinion that his right testicle does not hold.

I'm sorry, you're arguing in favor of the resolution. So you get to go first. Go ahead.

    If necessary, yes.

Let me clarify that I don't assume a very undeveloped fetus has a conscious.

For instance, within the first few days of sexual intercourse is there a living being in the womb? I would say no.

I believe that there are consequences for our actions. If a woman chooses to have unprotected sex then several weeks later finds out she is pregnant, she should not have the option of destroying the child in the womb.

I know there would be back alley abortion clinics, but I can not say that I am willing to allow death to the child without consequences. This would be against what I believe is civil.

That's pretty much what I believe. I don't think the federal government should make any law about it for the same reason it shouldn't make any law against murder, it just isn't part of the federal government's jurisdiction. I guess I could argue along those lines, if you want. But look, I'm an anarchist. Wouldn't you rather defend something like the existence of government over against no government at all?

Am I being called out as a knowitall on an internet debate forum, with a Kelly Clarkson video? Kelly Clarkson can suck my balls. Anyway, I don't listen to that kind of music. I'm more of a Primus kind of guy.

That's why I said "if necessary". The feds only get involved when it becomes an interstate crime.

If an abortion provider was crossing state lines to conduct business...
