Including Michael Jackson given enough time.
I remember her with brown hair, her mother's nose, etc
Without the VAMP: heavy dark eye makeup and blond hair (occasionally with weave)
ANY woman can be a Cosmo cover with enough money/adjustment.

I don't object to the make overs and pretences to be what you are not. I do object and fervently to someone supporting Asian sweat shops

It would be ignorant to deny that the working conditions on some "sweatshops" are awful. However, it is even more ignorant and naive not to see that "sweatshops" actually help "unskilled" people in the Third World to get a job and make a living. They prevent prostitution, criminality and backbreaking farmwork.

It is not only the Western consumer who bemefits from "sweatshops". Thanks to "sweatshops", Third World-countries can participate in the global market-place and poor Third Worlders can afford to support their families. With increased awarness, the demand for "fair trade" has increased in The West and this will automatically lead to a greater supply of "fair trade sweatshops" as companies have to compete.

The solution is not closing down and prohibiting "sweatshops", ignoring the good they do. Rather is to change the market by changing the demand by increasing customer awareness. It should - however - not be forgotten tjat the working condition at Western "swratshops" zlmost always are million times better than those at the domestic, Third World factories.

    Sweatshops are great.

Anyhow, I thought leftist were supposed not to talk badly about women, how they dress and how they look and instead take a strong stance against sexism and misogyny. But, as proven so many times before, this stops to matter if the woman in question is an "ideologic enemy".

No. I am saying that normally leftist like to pretend they care about sexism and misogyny, but with your post you have managed to show your true colours.

Making fun of a woman's appearence is a very low shot even more so when you bully her solely because she is the daughter of a president you dislike.

Bowerbird didn't bag Ivankas appearance. Ivankas hypocrisy in using sweatshops to produce clothing to sell in US is another.er matter.

You are right and guess I have to apologise for that. Thought BB was the OP. Still I see no hypocricy in using "sweatshops" at all. As I have already mentioned, these places are often much better than the alternatives. Even the "feminist hero", Beyoncé has a "sweatshop" in Sri Lanka where poor women make her clothes. ;)

Maybe she changed her face to avoid being confused with Chelsea Clinton.

In any case, it's clear that she used the same surgeon as her father and mother-in-law.

I'd say she looks quite likeable to me, somehow - as was/is Ivanka.

Looks like I'm quite acceptative in that departement. Must be age.

No I am making fun of someone I feel to be a hypocritical moral degenerate. Sweatshops are exploitative and are little more than slavery. Remember the factory collapse in Bangladesh? Truth is that people such as Ivanka could double the wage of the factory workers and still make a profit

Well, there's a couple of good points in there for sure.

It is still, however, sad that the pay these people get is measured by their capacity to endure rather than the company's ability to pay. But greed is no longer a sin, right?

Ever talked to a sweatshop-worker? There was this interview with one of those from El Salvador who daid she would not want to do anything else and was thankful that someone as unskilled as her could finally support their family without being a prostitute.

We have to remember that Europe and US had "sweatshops" too when we first wete industrialised. I am not trying to make the point tjat "sweatshops" are fantastic, but they sure are good for everyone involved. "Exploitation" and "slavery" are lies beczuse the workers could leave if they want.

And no, Ivanka could nit double the wages. That would mean she had to fire a couple of workers and the poor women would have to return to the awfuls of unemploy, ent in the Turd World. Furthetmore, she would have to raise the price for her clothes she sells to Westerners and that would bring down the demand leaving her in a situation whete she might have to fire a few more of the workets.

They get good pay. If you look at their paycheck from an Americzn POV, it will obvipusly seem as if they get paid nothing. But, relatively speaking, their salary is good and many Western companies actually pay above the domestic minimum wage.
