It happens. That's fantasy football. One time I had the best lineup ever, had 180 points. Lost 180-185 LOL. Since then my highest in a non-PPR league is like 130. You'll have your big games and your small games. This week was rough for both of us. Let's pretend it didn't happen lol
Yea I got 180 in a PPR league. If I remember correctly, it was thanks to the Giants/Redskins game where Hakeem Nicks caught like 4 big touchdowns, I had Eli in at QB, Jamaal Charles got me like 38 points off two screen pass TD's and two rushing TD's, and a few other lucky ones. Oh yea Gronk was my tight end so he probably had a monster game too. BUT I STILL LOST THAT GAME! LOL
I gotta do better than I did this week. But...if one of my guys had gotten two more yards...or one of AS's had gotten two yards less... ...I woulda won. I didn't. Congratulations, AS. Wait 'til next time!
Here here, I once won a league where I was the highest scoring team, but I also had the second highest points scored against me. Everyone in that league showed up against me, I was sweating bullets all year lol.
Eh dont feel bad, its only regular season and you are still in the hunt. Now when playoffs come around and you lose by 0.2 points because your QB threw a *******n interception on the last play of a sunday night game and that was your last player.....Then you can slam your face into a wall lmao. That happened to me 3 years ago with Matt Stafford against the Ravens. I screamed the loudest F-word inside BWW lol. 0.2 points away from a guaranteed $650 and a shot at a possible $1500 lol.
Wow last week I lost by .02! This week I am head to head with Deep Dish (who are ya, Deep?) at 95.66 to 95.46. We both have Jets players still open Deep has Brandon Marshall and I have Matt Forte. Gonna enjoy the game tonight! My JINTS play in London next week and I have to work Sunday morning at the golf course. Im a starter so I mostly work outside. Hope were not busy so I can watch the game on that ****** tiny TV we have in the pro shop. For anyone interested...here's a picture of my office:
