Tennis coach Amelie Mauresmo: why I split with Andy Murray

'It's just that every time I criticised him he freaked like this (see pic), and the flashbacks keep me awake every night.'

Well he's a Scott, he's fiery AND he's a tennis star, worst possible combination for being even tempered
it that what happened to Lendl, did Lendl also not like his temper or was he more discreet

If you haven't broken a tennis racket while playing your not doing it right!! LOL!!!

I really enjoy Tennis and I have been playing since I was a little kid.

Both my Dad and Mom are VERY good at it even in their now advanced age as we all are members of a local Tennis Club but I prefer to play outdoors in the spring and summer and fall.

I used to be a Baseball Pitcher when i was in school as well I played Quarter Back so I have a really good arm and it is VASTLY IMPORTANT to get a tennis racket that is STRUNG specifically to an individuals strength, speed and style of play.

Most women enjoy a reflexive effect stringing which allows a girl to easily place spin on the tennis ball and is not too tight in the rackets stringing as this requires a much different technique and hitting style.

Men who have very strong serves tend to have very tight stringing but sometimes too tight can result in dead ball returns.

I can accurately serve a tennis ball consistently at around 120 mph.

The fastest serve speed was 163.3 mph....and I can get my speed way up there but ACCURACY suffers at such speeds.

Being able to RETURN the damn ball is what we are all going for!! LOL!!!

Preferably with a HELL of a lot of top spin!!!

WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN IT WAS OUT!!!???

    THAT BALL WAS CLEARLY IN!!!!

    LOL!!

yeah I'm sure you would have given McEnroe a run for his money when it came to arguing with the Umpire, good thing you're not playing against me, if you kept arguing about the ball being in when YOU"VE CLEARLY IT IT OUT I might throw my racket at you

Not as fast as I am!!!

Why is it that girls think just because they are petite or smaller than a guy that they can outrun one???

Since EVERY TIME a girl has dome something like squirting me with a water hose while I am wearing one of my good suits.....or pouring a bucket of soapy water on me while I am washing my Vette....that THEY RUN....and say something they will live to regret like.....IF YOU CAN CATCH ME YOU CAN HAVE ME!!!

Well....since I catch them....EVERY TIME....I am starting to think they are doing and saying this on PURPOSE!!

    Enter the SWITCH!!

Garbine Mugurruza defeated Serena Williams at the finals of the French Open today 7-5 6-4 as time ticks away for Williams in her quest to move up higher in the record books before age catches up to her. Can't say I'm disappointed as she has always been a contentious, not very gracious competitor. Oh well....
