Pride in one's race is silly no matter what color your skin is. You didn't choose your color; you were born with it, so what is there to be proud about? Be proud of your accomplishments if you want, but to be proud of your skin color makes as much sense as being proud that you have elbows.

 

There is an appropriate thread for this discussion but seeing as you have decided to bring it up here i will respond.


YOU may not have pride in your race but many of us do. My race has done many great things to be proud of and MANY of us think that is worthy of PRIDE.
And the question stands, why is it ok for blacks to have pride in there"race" but if whites do its called racism.

How is a white pride march racist but a black pride rally/march NOT racist.

Are you going to have some real input, like answering the main question ( why is it ok to have racial pride if one is black but if you are white racial pride is racist? ) or are you just here to make a dick of yourself again?
