Ironically, you fit your own description.

This is nonsense! We know that the authoritarian personality is a right wing concept. Its the right winger who looks for the cult figure to follow and do their thinking. Left wingers? Unlike right wingers, they aren't homogeneous. As a socialist, for example, I have a problem with liberalism (the great defender of capitalism), but have to acknowledge that the liberal typically has a good level of understanding of economics. And government? Government is the key economic agent in capitalism. Without interventionism capitalism would be destroyed. "Free market economics" is just used to herd the gullible, typically of course such herding is funded by corporate interests

You are correct. It is weird compared to the conventional explanation. But the conventional explanation is moronic. I can remember back in high school, thinking how it didn't make any sense.

Now I know it doesn't make sense, because it's retarded. This short video explains it better.

I'm convinced that the only reason that why pin head intellectual fruit cakes, try and pin Nazis and Fascist on the right, is only because they want to try and separate the horrors of the Nazis from the Communists. Which is ridiculous. The Fascists did a tiny fraction of the horrors that Communists did.

But even more ironic, is that prior to WW2, everyone considered Fascism to be left wing. It wasn't until the Nazis rebelled against Stalin, after they mutually carved up Poland, and Hitler attacked the Soviets, that suddenly Nazis were bad, and were "right wing".

It's all garbage. This video is the accurate way to look at it. The spectrum going from Left to Right, is from Complete Government Control Socialism, to Zero Government Anarchy. The various types of government on the left, are simply varying degrees of control. On the right, a Constitutionally limited government, is moderate right wing. Where government is limited to protecting the people, and the people's rights.

Free-market Capitalism has more in common with Anarchy, than it does with Fascism or Communism. For example social class. Communism plans to eliminate the upper class, and create a proletariat only society. Fascism tried to tie the classes together. In Capitalism, there is no class, just like in Anarchy.

Wealth is another example. Communism sought to equalize wealth. Fascism tried to share wealth. Capitalism is whatever you get is yours. Anarchy is whatever you get is yours. By any stretch, Nazism and Fascism, are left wing, government control, ideologies. Free-market Capitalism is not, and has more in common with Anarchy, a limited government view of society.

Fascism goes hand in hand with the theory of the elites. Its inconsistency with left wing thought is obvious.

Utter nonsense! The right wing nature of fascism was understood perfectly well, with the regimes involved- for example- known for suspension of labour rights and freedoms

Free market capitalism cannot exist, nor would it be desirable.
