Had Trump been in charge, he would have quickly pumped back troops in and sent air support the moment it had become obvious the Taliban were renegading on their deal and the Afghan government needed help as several of their military bases were being overrun.

Do you think Trump would have let those weapons and armored vehicles stored at those bases fall into the hands of the Taliban?

 

This isn't possible.

Pompeo negotiated a fantastic deal to hand over power to the Taliban not even 9 months ago.

It was even Trump who got Mullah Baradar out of prison because he was confident it would go smoothly.

 

Xoe is so proud of his little plan. Death, destruction, women and children murdered in their homes. Do you think he has the drone video piped to the bunker so he can enjoy it?

 

The deal may have gone better if Biden did not decide to break the deal.

The deal may have worked if the threat of military force and the use of air support was used to hold the Taliban to their part of the deal. Sometimes deals need to be backed up by some force, so the other side knows it will not be so easy for them if they just break the deal.

The Democrats would be blaming Trump for whatever he did, either way.

This is totally the type of thing the Democrats would have done. Seems a little unfair to complain about a Republican doing something when the Democrats would have been even more likely to do the same thing. This is the case with multiple issues, it's not just this one. Trump intentionally took a middle-of-the-road, moderate approach on many things, doing the type of things Democrats would have done to try to give the Democrats less room to be able to complain about what he did. His strategy was to start making Democrats look like hypocrites if they complained about some of his policy decisions.

 

Perhaps we are all looking at this in the wrong way... Xoe decided the couldn't just give China the designs of our weapons out in the open... So.... He's going to let the Taliban do it for him. The Traitor Xoe is going to destroy this nation.

Then again, we shouldn't be surprised they are good with women and little girls being traumatized by men in our locker rooms here in the U.S., so what the big deal with the brutality the Afghan women are about to face?

I don't think you are aware of how the Afghans were trained and what the Biden Administration did to them.

The Afghans were trained to conduct their operations with U.S. Air support. Biden yanked that air support in the middle of the night with zero notice. The Afghan military freaked out as that was not the plan. They had no warning. They felt abandoned and the training they received was now mostly useless.

The Democrats running the Biden Administration screwed them over.

Biden is an idiot, that doesn't mean the Afghani's don't bear blame for not being able to handle their own **** and organize the defense of their own nation.
