Barr has called the folks he HAD to chemical weapon, and rubber bullet, unruly. Then, later, he had to ratchet that up with lies, of projectiles, which journalists THERe, have shown as lies. But it begs the question, is being angry, reason enough to risk your life, send the regular military to DOMINATE you with with live ammo? And likely massacre our children? It seems that we dont have a clear language on when exactly you can kill folks for their beliefs. The right wing seems to think that angry is cause enough. That if a group has been told to disband, that if they do not, or do not fast enough, that it is open season. NOT so when they are gun totters. Certainly so, when it is folks complaining about oppression, who need to experience REAL oppression. Those protesting would not be protesting, if they were not angry. Those not angry, that congregate, are called a picnic, or party. The right wing has described what they call peaceful. and it seems to include navel gazing and flower twisting, no anger. Certainly if you wave your arms, you are a terrorist. What folks can be DOMINATED with live ammo? WE need to know, before this nation experiences a massacre on our children, and condemnation from every nation. Do not include looters and rioters, I want to know which of our children can be put down with live ammo.

They simply need to fit drones with pressurized tanks of pepper spray Cap Stun. When Protesters start getting unruly, fly over and spray 'em down. I have been pepper sprayed by 0.7% (Law Enforcement strength), it's truly nasty stuff. There's one strength stronger at 1.2% Cap Stun. Fill the sprayer drones with that......the crowd will disburse and leave unharmed.
This dirtbag should lose his job AND pay to restore the monument. That someone with the sacred duty of introducing children to culture would desecrate a precious & historic work of public art is despicable.
History is important both the bad and the good that we may know in which direction the good lies that we may move further along that path, and the bad that we may understand and not repeat it. The great lesson of the Civil War is that even otherwise decent human beings can find themselves caught up in grotesquely evil causes.
I am fine with charges being brought. It was vandalism and the statutes are there on the books to be enforced. I prefer a process be used to remove these, should the locals who own the land and the statues want to change the décor in the parks. You can worship these things if you want, and imbue them with grandiose learning properties, but they are made of metal, granite or marble and they don't do much of anything .
I love it when your sort get all melodramatic. Its like going back to junior high and sitting in the lunch room near the 'princess' table. If the piece of metal or stone sitting on public land, and offending more of the people than it is pleasing, it makes sense to get it out of there. The space can be better used. I do agree with that last line though.
