Esper didn't necessarily spread something false. He gave you just enough, probably knowing full well you would turn it into something it was not which could help him to sell books. I have not disputed the notion that he may have said so in a brainstorming session, and you know that full well.

It is the TDS crowd that took it and added their own interpretation that is spreading something false. The TDS Crowd just fills in the blank with whatever nonsense they please, and then proceed to get indignant about the nonsense they just fabricated out of the tiny bit of factual information they were actually provided.

Your insinuation his book is filled with 'hearsay' and 'exploiting gullibility for profits' is an insult to a veteran of distinction.

You have no evidence that Trump asked such a question. Therefore all of your points are about as useful as tits on a boar hog. Even your appeal to authority is not evidence. Mark Esper may have done all of that, but that doesn't mean that he can't ever lie. All you have is hearsay. And confirmation bias.

 

It was me simply responding to a complete and purposeful mischaracterization of what had just taken place, presumably in the hopes that if you throw around just enough sand nobody will be able to see. I correctly pointed out that you like to bicker aimlessly. I mean seriously, does anyone actually care about whether he said the left tries to distract or who was the first to say it?

You made up a scenario in search of a justification for Trump asking why the military he wanted to place at the protests couldn't shoot at protesters. Someone has backed himself in to a corner but it isn't me.
