Mr. Trump is now saying that he had warned President George W. Bush that an Iraq invasion would be a colossal foreign policy mistake that would destabilize the Middle East and potentially bankrupt the U.S.

Contrast such sage foresight with Hillary Clinton's kowtowing to the hapless Bush and his contriving neocons who lied America into a multi-trillion dollar nation-building fiasco.

That the show business celebrity foresaw the greatest foreign policy disaster in US history is a self-serving fabrication of course, typical of the tycoon's contempt for history that does not serve his raison d'etre, self-promotion. Yet, it does effectively wreak havoc on the incorrigible dead-enders who had persisted, despite the blitzkrieg of facts, in clinging to the fantasy that the fraudulently-pretexted fiasco was a nifty idea.

Those who swallow his copious prevarications - such as thousands cheering the collapse of the WTC towers from New Jersey (thoroughly discredited, even by his #1 bumboy Christie) - believe anything he tells them, and that is not all bad.

Many in Trump's cult of personality are finally accepting what normal folks have recognized for many years, that Bush's Iraq gambit was an unmitigated stinker with hideous consequences.

His deftly dismissing their recent potty fixation that had them in such a tizzy, and his having stifled their jihad against Planned Parenthood are other examples of his bringing enlightenment to the darkest recesses of the nation.

It isn't just his supportive neo-nazis, skinheads, and white supremacists that are smitten.

In some cases, what's good for Trump® is good for America.

It s amazing to me that the Trump supporters are consistantly willing to overlook his occasional flashes of intelligent and realistic thinking.

Those supporting Trump are in for a rude awakening when he goes down to the inevitable historic defeat.

But, they will continue to drink the kool aid and believe anything he tells them.

Until Election day, and even when every poll is telling them Trump is toast in the Electoral College, they will hold out hope.

Like the GOP did in 2012, anticipating the "Romney Landslide".

Trump will lose and go back to his grand tower, and his delusional supporters will blame the electoral loss on a grand "conspiracy"

Gonna be fun watching the Trump supporter meltdown.

They will probably be in denial until 2024.

It is exactly this type of denial that is killing the GOP.

Remember, this is the guy who claimed Muslims were cheering during the 9/11 attacks, when no footage or proof has surfaced of such.

This guy whines, and squeals when things don't go his way. Furthermore, he fabricates fairy tales like the instance I gave above to make him seem credible, and all those neo-nazis, skinheads, and white-supremacists (well, at least we know for a fact white-supremacists support Trump) buy into it, and show off their gullible side in these primaries.

Even his bumboy Christe has refuted the shlock tv entertainer's slur on his constituents, but fanatical Trumpies buy anything he tells them.

Trumps endorsements and support by neo-nazis, skinheds, and other white supremacists is well-documented. (Here's an example.)

Trumpies get in a tizzy when that is noted because they are impotent in honestly confronting it.

I remember this at the time. It was quickly hushed up by our Saudi owned media.

So, sandwiched in between talk of real or fake boobies, shaved or hairy hoo-hoos and how many girls a rich guy like Trump has banged, Stern asks Trump if he's for a war with Iraq and Trump unequivocally replies, "Yeah, I guess so".

Once again, Natty Bump(p)o hits it out of the park!! :)

Trump is a reality show hack and his supporters are celebrity sycophants. They are the same people who read People magazine and toady to the Kardashians. There's enough of them to give the rest of us a laugh but not enough to elect a President.

Hillary Clinton is the worst candidate in US poltical history and will destroy the Democratic Party unless Obama changes his mind and allows the DOJ to take her to a grand jury or otherwise extorts her with the prospect to get her to quit.

Even with voter turnout by Democrats dropping thru the floor and despite her fall from nearly 80% to barely half of even Democrats, those supporting her will continue to drink the koolaid and believe anything she says.

Until Election Day, even with polls showing Bernie Sanders supporters - over 40% of Democrats - will vote for Trump rather than her, Clinton supporters will hold out hope.

Even as Hillary Clinton continues to fall in support in every poll starting at nearly 80% - while Trump continues to rise in polls from an intial 1%, Clinton supporters will keep bragging there will be a Clinton landslide - just like for Carter and McGovern.

Hillary Clinton will lose her lifelong quest for power and the White House for which she will say and do anything as her sole purpose of life. Her delusional supporters will blame the lose on voters - calling Americans stupid and ignorant, which they do already anyway. The Clintons then will vanish away to count the billions they raked in from bribery and graft.

Unlike you, It will be annoying watching the continued raging and sobbing of Clinton supporters after she is obliterated, expressing their great hatred of democracy, Americans and the USA blaming everyone but their own stupidity.

Yet, internally, Clinton supporters know Trump will win and hope against hope that a billion words of "Trump will never run" and "Trump can't win the primary" and "it is mathematically impossible for Trump to avoid a contested convention" - never changed what you and they have known all along. Trump is going to win. Clinton was the absolute worst possible candidate for Democrats to make their nominee as pay-off for Clintons slush funds feeding them and tired of a black president believing the old white and rich Democrat elities can at least pretend they will be in control again before they die off of old age.

So they and you will continue to rant and sob, gloat he can't win, as he slowly and with certainty continues to rise in the polls and Clinton slowly and with certainty falls. Only if Obama released the DOJ to force her out can you be saved from the insanity and inevitability of a Clinton disaster in November.

You should not underestimate him or many of his supporters. He has garnered more votes than any other Republican primary candidate in history. Even divided amongst 13 other candidates he has gotten over 12 Million. People are going to underestimate this guy into the White House and all of us will suffer for it. By you sticking your nose up at his supporters you are going to miss the knife they shove into all of our bellies.

Interesting perspective and I realize you're warning us away from the perils of hubris but I think the math is pretty conclusive isn't it? He simply can't get the votes.

That is just it he could, florida and ohio are both polling even for Clinton and Trump. If Trump pulls those plus the normal Republican states then he wins. Then Clinton has to rely on a republican voting state switching. That is not so good for her because while Trump is detested so is she. This is truly up in the air. Consider Trump while having bad numbers in general for women still garnered more women votes then any other republican. So even though he is dislike he still gets those votes. I dont know why but I do know the trail is littered with his opponents.

Just remember, the last few elections hinged on just a few thousand or so in the swing states. Get a few more Trumpists to the polls and more Sanders supporters staying home and there could be a real upset.

Trump is really starting to remind me of Richard M. Nixon and that is scary. I hope that his supporters begin to see through this facade and come to their senses.

Clinton, Trump deadlocked in three swing states

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are neck and neck in three swing states ahead of their potential general presidential election match-up, according to a new poll.

Clinton and Trump are deadlocked in Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania, according to the Quinnipiac University survey released early Tuesday.

“Six months from Election Day, the presidential races between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the three most crucial states, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, are too close to call,” said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll.

“At this juncture, Trump is doing better in Pennsylvania than the GOP nominees in 2008 and 2012. And the two candidates are about where their party predecessors were at this point in Ohio and Florida.”

I am convinced that if Trump gets beat in November, his former supporters will dump him like a sack of rotten potatoes. They will then blame him for the loss much as Trump did to Romney and call him a pathetic loser. At that point, all of the ditto head nit wits will go back to their real strength which has always been hating on Hillary Clinton for as long as she is in there and coming up with another turd to run against her after 4 years and lose big again. Then they will blame everything on the Mexicans and Black people who put her in power in hopes of getting free stuff. Right wing radio will continue to thrive by spewing hate 24-7-365 and give these haters a reason to wake up in the morning and whine like a bunch of crusty old crackers until they pass out at night.

There were a lot of Democrats who believed in going into Iraq based on the evidence. Hillary voted for the war, as did Kerry. Are the Hillettes finally coming to the realization that Hill is a pathological liar who screwed up royally as Secretary of State, and going by her track record, would screw up royally as president? Bill would turn the White House(the People's House) into a brothel---AGAIN. You aren't going to get any converts, but your desperation is showing.

Based on the statements you've made, and the question you asked, the first thing that comes to mind is, together, they make no sense. If Hillary went by the evidence to go to war, how do you tie that into her being a pathological liar?

And that's pretty much what it will be.

Most Democrats in Congress opposed the falsely-pretexted, multi-billion dollar nation-building fiasco, of course, but a few like Clinton went along with the vast majority of Republicans - a huge error in judgement that cost her the presidency in 2008.

I have no interest in promoting Clinton, but am amused by the Tantrumps Hillary haters throw. She may be the worst nominee the Demcratic Party could have found, and is very, very lucky that the GOP settled on a worse one.
