Uh oh, this isn't going to go over well with the Trusty Sciencey leftist crowd.....
Unlike the "mandate the vaccine crowd" who claim, even here on this forum, that the COVID vaccine works like the Polio vaccine, I trust the science. And it's more complicated than the partisan folks care to admit.

Are COVID Shots Fueling More Dangerous Mutations?
    https://takecontrol.substack.com/p/covid-shots-drive-mutations
The Delta variant (B.1.617.2) was initially identified in India December 1 and 11, 2020. While the COVID jabs were not rolled out in India until mid-January 2021, Phase 3 trials for Biotech’s Covaxin were initiated in Bharat, India, November 16, 2020. By December 22, 2020, 22,500 volunteers had received the jab.

On a side note, the Indian government released Covaxin to the public before Phase 3 trials were completed and in the absence of any safety or efficacy data. According to some vaccinologists, the emergence of potentially more problematic variants following mass vaccination rollouts during an active pandemic is precisely what you’d expect.

When it comes to the Delta variant, there’s bad news for those who have received one or more COVID shots, as research14 shows fully vaccinated individuals who develop breakthrough infections with the Delta variant have the same viral loads as unvaccinated individuals who are infected with this virus.

The latest coronavirus on the block is Lambda, which was first identified in Peru. It’s now spreading through South America. Like the Delta variant, Lambda is more infectious than the original SARS-CoV-2 virus. Unlike Delta, it appears more resistant to vaccine-induced antibodies.

According to Reuters,17 three spike protein mutations “help it resist neutralization by vaccine-induced antibodies.” While some claim the emergence of Delta and Lambda is justification for a third booster shot, Rockefeller University researchers point out that a third dose might raise the number of antibodies, but it won’t improve their ability to neutralize viruses.18 19

Americans are now told the Delta variant is a pandemic among the unvaccinated, even though the data doesn’t support this claim. The CDC appears to be trying to prop up this narrative by not reporting breakthrough infections in vaccinated individuals unless they are hospitalized or die.

Well, the existence of antibodies causes Variants. Is the virus can no longer reproduce it must adapt.

So I won't say that it's just a vaccine because it's not it's also people that have had the virus and fought It off.

Coronavirus is a type of virus that has been around for many years and it varies and changes all the time.

It's a lot like influenza or the rhinovirus. In fact I'm willing to bet it has some sort of relation going back in history to those viruses.

Rona might just be a fact of life now like the flu.

Evolution is at work. Not enough people are vaccinated, so he virus mutates and eventually it'll mutate so the vaccine doesn't work against it. So we need to snuff it out now before the vaccine becomes completely ineffective.

Well, this is completely false. This isn’t polio. The vaccine can live and mutate in vaccinated people. But your post is a prime example of the science-denying that is coming from the left on this issue.

...and? I'm well aware the vaccine isn't foolproof, and that it has a high rate of success. So keep the virus from spreading and mutating so the vaccine loses efficacy.

as this vaccine targets the spikes, the chances it will still work against any variants is high

are you saying if you were exposed to the poliovirus, you would not get it?

or would you get it and your trained immune system due to the vaccine would fight it off?

this is what always happens, the vaccine only trains your body to fight off the virus better if you do get it

And people should consider themselves soldiers in the war on this disease and get the shots. Less virus equals less mutation.

True. That might work for some. Personally speaking I think we need the politics of hope. We need to give people hope for a better future.

Except vaccinated people can have just as high a viral load. So there's your point out the window.

This is false for COVID. Hell, it's false for the flu. These vaccines, unlike the polio vaccine, are nowhere nearly as effective at preventing an infection. They ARE apparently effective at reducing your symptoms. But you can still carry a high enough viral load to spread the virus, according to recent studies.

And people wonder where I get the claim that people say that the COVID vaccine is like the polio vaccine. Your post is one of hundreds of examples.

Many dissenting experts, virologists and immunologists and ordinary physicians have predicted since the beginning exactly what we're seeing.

True. And the anti-vaxxers cause the problem, and then incoherently blame others for it.

Caused what problem? "Incoherently blame"? That's just nonsense.

    Delta came from India, lol.
COVID itself came from a lab in Wuhan Fauci funded.
Lambda came from South America, most likely from the flood of illegals Biden is letting in the country.

We simply don't have data on how many vaccinated people are transmitting Delta around right now.

no, your confused, you still get the virus, all the vaccine does it help teach your body to fight it if you do get it

that is all vaccines do, they are not like a rubber glove that keeps the virus from ever getting into your body

Well, I was kinda undecided but this extensive rebuttal you have so laboriously crafted, has certainly made all the difference. I'm convinced now!!!

There are eight billion people on the planet. In order to snuff it out we would have to have a vaccine that actually worked on the variants out there and vaccinate all 8 billion people in such a short time that variants would be unable to evolve, that's assuming that the vaccine itself wouldn't cause a mutation. In other words, the left are promoting a pipe dream that is absolutely and totally virtually impossible.

The history of the world has shown that it is nothing but a pipe dream to actually even entertain the thought that the entire population of the world would get vaccinated for something. It's never happened and never will.

LOL. It's exactly the other way around. During mask mandates the virus continued to spread. Blame the unmasked, even though studies showed that 90% of those out and about were masked and actually spreading the virus.

The vaccines worked quite well on the original variants and case counts didn't go down during mask mandates until the vaccine came out.

Fast forward to Delta, a variant which started in India and spread around the world. While the vaccines are quite good at greatly decreasing hospitalizations and deaths, the vaccinated spread the virus. That's why cases continue to spread, because the vaccines don't stop the spread of Delta and the vaccinated are spreading it. Now we've got many places requiring vaccine passports to enter, seemingly oblivious to the fact that the vaccinated are spreading Delta. Sports stadiums are getting ready to only admit in tens of thousands of the vaccinated, again oblivious to the fact that the vaccinated are spreading Delta. If you have a stadium filled with 50,000 fully vaccinated fans, it will be a huge superspreader event. But, just blame it all on the unvaccinated.
