I love travelers who learn from others. They ignore Americans, but they tell me they learn from others.
Since I was not a Trump fan, but detested the thought of having that animal named Clinton back in the White house, I was pumped for her to get shot that day she lied and said she was under sniper fire. Man, were that to have taken place, some sniper missed his golden chance. But she lied.

When Bill was investigated, a lot of dirt came out on both him and Hillary. I walked by the White House when Clinton was there and could not bring myself to go inside. That was prior to 911 so you could enter at a guard gate.

I was sick to my stomach this country had both Clintons living there. I honestly was sick to my stomach so refused to enter there. I kept walking around the entire White house site.

I won't spend hours going into all the details of Hillary but she was not fit for any office.

So, it was never going to happen to get me to vote for Clinton. I still think Sanders is very dishonest.

So why Trump? Because so many Americans loved the guy that when CA got our chance to vote in the primaries, Trump was already the winner. I realized that. The convention was to welcome him.

In the Fall, there was that dastardly Hillary standing against Trump.

My favorites had already been rejected. So we got Trump. Today i think this country has a real honest president.

Democrats did the same thing when GW Bush won. I explained the voting system to them then and even in recent weeks. They do not understand.

Why did they ignore civics courses? Even had they paid attention here on forums, they could learn how it works.

The "mandate" is a myth. I think the media created that term.

I know I wanted health care solved correctly. Not the ACA way, but a way we could abide. I was looking into the future at costs. And trying to realize why a country would force insurance down your throat even if you wanted them to leave you alone. Finding no reason, I looked to Trump. I don't know enough about the republicans who did not back up Ryan, but I blame the media. They want to keep saying Trump is under FBI investigation when the FBI denied that. The media still lies.

We know the media hates Trump. I saw it long long back. Fox has some that hate him. Many will give him a chance.

I have to accept that each day on this forum, we will get entertained by Democrat lovers whining about Trump.

I put up with Obama for 8 years. Wallow in it. I had to.

I couldn’t agree more. Hillary was an abysmal candidate. People don’t trust her and don’t like her. She has always been a lousy campaigner and speaker. She lacks charisma and warmth. She avoided the press like the plague, and when she gave a rare press interview the whole thing was staged: handpicked reporter and soft-ball questions. She also often avoided going out to campaign for many days on end, thinking she didn’t have to get herself dirty trying to convince people to vote for her, after all, she was certain to win — it was her turn, ya know? The DNC was also up to it’s neck in this charade, it was as corrupt as any political organization has ever been. And they STILL haven’t cleaned it up.

But, in spite of all of this, there is one other important thing to remember. Hillary was so God-awful that she was very likely the ONLY Democrat in America that the Orange Piece Of Garbage could have beaten. He, trump, should forever be kissing Hillary’s feet out of gratitude. Without her, Fart-Face would never have been elected president.

I'm an Independent voter and I felt cheated that we ended up with two absolutely disgusting candidates in this presidential election. I feel the same way today — I still can't stand either of them.

I would rather open a phone book and choose a name at random to be POTUS than to have Trump, because then there's a chance that the person chosen randomly will be too intimidated by the office not to take the job seriously.

Obama is sane. Bush is sane. Trump is like the right-wing Kanye West.

I'm a liberal, but if the Dems ever nominate their own version of Trump--say, a Kanye West or a Kim Kardashian--I would vote for a Huckabee or a Santorum in a heartbeat.

Well, no. He's not. The POTUS is the chief of 1/3 of the federal government. He's not a king.

The trouble is ACA is grossly flawed that like it or not we will have to revisit it a year or two from now. That's just the truth.

You were making sense until this-- I still think Sanders is very dishonest.

The one candidate who had any principles and lived by them, one who had sold herself completely to corporate business, and Trump who words cannot describe.

No wonder that half of America doesn’t bother to vote, its beyond a joke now, its just sad.

Yeah the guy that pays slightly more than a third as much of his incomes in taxes as Trump doesn't have a hypocritical bone in his body. Com'on man he's just another damn power hungry politician wants you to live your life the way he thinks you should.

You'll get no argument from me on this point. However the bill Ryan and Trump tried to muscle through congress was a great deal worse.
As with any fledgling government run system of this magnitude, it will take some time to iron out the kinks. Giving the rich a $33.000 tax rebate every year towards their healthcare hardly seems an improvement for the rest of us. Jacking up healthcare costs for the elderly, who have been paying their taxes (unlike the president) for their entire working life, hardly seems fair.Cutting healthcare cost by up to $4000 a year for younger citizens at the prime of their earning potential, hardly seems fair.
Let's fix this fledgling system with bipartisan cooperation, instead of furthering Trump's true agenda of enriching himself and his cronies.

Well, this line completely ended YOUR credibility. Sorry old hat, but it was Trump that did this.
After that line I didn't even waste my time reading the rest of your post.

I DARE you to read through the politifact web site and substantiate ANYTHING you stated here. You are just parroting what you've heard or read from the disinformation machine of the altright and the Trump team of liars. truth and lies.PNG

A better idea would be to eliminate as much as you can of the cost drivers where you can. For instance the health insurance mandate increased insurance demand and guaranteed thereby an equal increase in price since it did not also increase the number of suppliers.

Voter turnout in our country is abysmal at best. It's a sad state of affairs how many people chose to stay at home instead of coming to vote against this embarrassment. Republicans always do better with lower voter turnout, hence their love for voter suppression laws.

I think the reason Trump won is that he is liberal. The ideals of Americans are liberal.

The Democrat party is trying to be left of that. They don't need to be. They just need to be the party of the avarage poeple. And they haven't been for some time.

The "suppliers" are not maxed-out. They can always accommodate more subscribers and they want to. So that is a non-issue.

Who is this average person? Is it Joe the Plumber or Suresh the programmer? Sally the homemaker or Maria the owner of a landscaping business? Is it a white person, black person, brown person or some mix of all? There is no such thing as an average person really. None of us represent any sort of standard, we are a bunch of varied people living together and that is why this nation is called a melting pot.

    WHAT???
Name a country where they have an election, the majority of the votes are AGAINST a candidate, then the loser is named the winner???
Hillary got a lot more votes than the so-called president. I believe that in most countries they would logically declare her the winner.

It wouldn't be a single person or a single characteristic. It would be the American populace.

Standard and average are two different things. And yes there is an average.

Clinton didn't appeal to do called "fly over country." That cost her the election.

It can perhaps be explained by a corrupt system controlled by lobbyists and donations from big business supporting a candidate based on their own vested interest rather than what is best for the country and it's citizens. How else can you explain a population of over 300,000,000 people coming up with the choice between those two hateful clowns. Was there really no one else who could do a better job?

Most countries with a true democracy elect a leader with fewer than 50% of the vote. Be it a first past the post parliamentary democracy like my own or an electoral college system like yours or a proportional representative system like many in Europe. Most systems have their faults but you work with the rules of the game and it's no good bitching about them after you lost.

You wrote a note proving you did not get what I said.

Do you not understand our nations election system? Nowhere in the law does it say she won by picking up the illegal vote in CA and maybe even in NY.

If you were accurate, she would have been sworn in. But she was not.
