This is why the protesting of merely asking the question is upsetting to some. Some folks know they will not be able to defend their position so they would rather the discussion not take place at all.

I know letting illegals flood in is not good for the country nor the illegals. It is only good for companies that want cheap labor.

So, let them come and go legally. Problem solved. Most of the illegals in the US overstayed their visas and if employers couldn't hold that over their heads they'd pay and tax them appropriately.

Because illegals are not “flooding” our borders. That’s the hysterical partisan bullshit.

What to you is flooding? Because just since Biden has been in office nearly 2 million illegals have been stopped entering the US not at a border check point. IE: Trying to come here illegally. That certainly isn't a casual walk in the park ordinary thing like you are apparently portraying it as.

If 2 million gallons of water entered a football stadium you think the game would still be played? Or would they close it due to flooding?

All that said, the word "flooding" is subjective in this case. As such you're refusing to answer the question based on a quibble. Because you don't want to acknowledge the reality. Take out the word. Answer the question. Here, I'll refine it for you.

"Are you ok with 2 million people entering the U.S. borders illegally in a year and a half's time? And why are you ok or not ok?"

There. Happy? Nothing subjective in that question. Can you answer it? WILL you answer it? I'm betting that you're just here to quibble and argue and not produce a productive conversation.

Resources and security. Both natural and human. Every country on this planet has regulated borders because of those limited things.

Ex: Recently the Mayor of DC was hollering about the 2.5k some odd people Abbot bussed to DC because they (DC) didn't have the resources to handle that many people suddenly coming to DC. Asking for monetary AND National Guard help to handle them. She quoted lack of resources as the reason for needing help. Both in housing and human help.

How open are the borders in South Africa?
If I remember correctly isn't that where you said you live?

We wouldn’t have a country if the Mayflower didn’t come here illegally.

There were no US immigration laws when the Mayflower came here. IE: Not illegal. Try again.

Convenient. Pass laws on something you stole. Pretty neat, pretty cool. Americans for you.

There were no American's on the Mayflower. Try again.

Also, Columbus "discovered" the America's in 1492. America was not founded until 1776. That is a 284 year difference. Funny how you like to blame America for things that happened almost 300 years before it even existed.

Additionally your "stole" spiel is hypocritical if you do not holler about Native American's stealing land from other Native American's that were here before the ones that were here in 1492. Which they did. History is replete with countries and people taking over the lands of ALL areas of the world. In fact its still going on today. Yet all you ever holler about is America "stealing" Native American "lands". Wonder why that is.....

Folks from the Mayflower aren’t passing laws and whining like bitches in 2022 either. So take your “Try again” smug bullshit somewhere else.

Strawman argument since I never claimed such. Try again.

Every country in the world has immigration laws and enforces them. Indeed out of all of them the US allows more immigrants into our country through our legal process than any other country in the world. And most countries have far stricter immigration laws also. Yet you never complain about them. Why is that? What exactly is so wrong about wanting our immigration laws enforced? What is so wrong about not wanting people to come here illegally? To come here through our legal process?

I don’t mind if they are enforced either. It’s just not in top 10 of my concerns.

Want to build a dumbass ugly wall? Build it. But I just think a country that treats infrastructure the way we do might want to stay away from something like a wall. We can’t even keep our bridges safe.

American politicians are never concerned about real **** Americans are concerned about.

Nearly 2 million illegals, just the ones that they caught. Most have been allowed to stay because they now know that they can just claim "asylum" the moment that they are caught and take years to go through the court system (over 90% of asylee claims are rejected). In the mean time they live in America, taking advantage of various resources that we simply are lacking in and unable to support fully. Don't believe me? Ask DC's Mayor who requested financial aid and national guard help due to lack of resources for JUST 2 thousand some odd people bussed to DC by Texas Governor Abbot. If our Capital of these United States is having difficulty handling a mere 2 thousand people bused to her city over a 3 month period imagine what other communities are like with 2 million being shipped all over the US.

It may not be a concern for you. But it is for others. And sniping at people who are concerned about it by claiming they're "whining like bitches" does nothing but produce more division. And coming up with stupid responses like you did about the Mayflower and stealing land instead of seriously addressing what is being talked about does no one any favors. So, while my "try again" may be "smug bullshit" to you, your responses so far has been the same. I responded to your posts in exactly the way your responses should have been handled. Nothing I said was not factual. While yours were not factual and designed to do nothing more than to degrade America.

There IS one thing I agree with you on though. American politicians are never concerned about real **** Americans are concerned about.

You can spot the people who don’t care about being awash in illegals simply by how far they’re removed from them.

Says the one arguing about **** that happened hundreds of years ago.

If you can't form an argument based on the current world we live in, then you don't have an argument....not even a bad one.

So take your smug bullshit somewhere else.
