You need to construct a poll... it's actually fairly easy to do. The future? I'm a realist, and so, IMHO, if Obama is re-elected we are in for a horrible four more years -- worse, in fact, than anything we saw in the first four years... because like he intimated to Medvedev in the infamous recent meeting with the Russian leader -- "I'll have more flexibility!" When I dwell on what that might entail, it turns my blood to ice....

Personally, Professionally and Financially this has been the BEST several years ever; this has already given my future a Huge Advantage. If you're company isn't taking advantage of this booming Economy ... you need to speak professional.
I am very optimistic , country is going broke and we will soon get out of capitalist Eurozone , communist parties are winning and European communists are looking to quit their revisionist nonsense and return back into the canon . Financially it will only get worst before getting better and this is a big opportunity for my nationals to re-evaluate their existence and stop being the consumerist sheep they are . The condemnation of political and financial establishment will one way or the other lead into the creation of new ideas and new applications to enrich the canon . The future looks amazing !
I actually think the last several years have been fantastic, especially if you consider them on a historical basis. From 2000-2010, the size of the global economy doubled. East Asia's GDP more than quadrupled, while South Asia and even Sub-Saharan's GDP tripled, despite the financial crisis. Things have been going pretty well, and most social and economic variables continue to improve. All over the world, people are living longer, and they continue to get richer. I'm uncertain whether or not these gains are sustainable, but overall, I'm pretty optimistic.
I certainly hope we are in the last days of hate, but greed is what makes our society run, and it sustains the way we live. If there is rule of law, and the only way to satiate your greed is to satisfy a customer, it need not necessarily lead to bad outcomes. As for "corporate rape," I'm not sure what you're referring to. Unfortunately I do not see an end to hatred coming anytime soon. Nor do I see an end in sight for greed. I have no idea what you mean by "corporate rape."
Optimism and euforism (emotion) were fatal to the German people, and the current political situation looks remarkable the same to period 1933 - 1940. Best thing do to is not label yourself to strong (pos/neg/dep/euf), which will blind you from reality. Reality is that 'socialist' and 'nationalist' parties in Europa are gaining momentum, this was the reality in Germany eighty years ago. 2050 is almost thirty years from now, between now and 2050 lots is going to happen, the next months/years are the most important (a century of capitalism 1913 - 2013 and power politics)
That is a great point. Although the germans have something that will keep them focused. Their own history. Which they seem to also being using as momnentum for forward change. It is nations like america who i question, who don't have historical memories. Who blindly go forward without the breaks of past mistakes to nudge their conscience.
