This really is out of curiosity. I believe there are sometime differences between what Trump supporters say and what they actually believe. So, out of curiosity I'd like to know the relationship between the rhetoric and reality. Please only vote if you're a Trump supporter. Comment if you like but I'm not looking for an argument. This really is just curiosity.
Worked full time through the whole thing, have interacted with thousands of people and did not get sick. From my experience and my experience only, this whole covid-19 thing was overblown.
It's a shame you didn't make it an open poll. Then you would know who actually voted and find out if they were actually Trump supporters. I suspect the "no" votes were not Trump supporters. In any case, I am a Trump supporter and yes, I would take it if nothing else was available.
I voted 'yes', and I'm a lukewarm Trump supporter (mainly because the liberal-Left, by contrast, makes me want to puke). Now, ONLY if I had reason to believe that I had been exposed to the virus, or if there were significant viral outbreaks involving new mutations, then I would definitely consider taking HCQ. That opinion is based on what we (and all our learned scientists) know today -- which is still amazingly LITTLE (with any concrete CERTAINTY). This erudite body of scientists seem to change their minds about what they purport to know, often....
I voted yes. I am only taking low doses of quinine and zinc suppliment, because I don't have any HCQ. But HCQ is just a more refined version of quinine. I figure I'm taking about 1/4 of a standard 'dose'.
Please, I would be very interested to know which zinc supplement form you take, and in what quantity per day. For my part, I always take at least 2,000 milligrams of Vitamin C every day (in addition to LOTS of other vitamins, etc.), and ~20 ml of Sambuccus (Standardized Elderberry extract) in my protein drink every day. Elderberry is legendary for its antiviral effects. If I have any 'cold' symptoms at all, I double (or triple) the doses of Vitamin C, and add liquid supplements of Goldenseal, Echinacea, and Osha. Not many people know about the uses of Osha, which is obnoxious and tastes like a combination of celery juice and battery acid, but it totally knocks the crap out of any virus infection I ever come in contact with.... I too take supplements. I take Zinc Picolinate 25mg for about a year now, and it does seem to help my BPH prostate. I keep on hand and use as needed zinc lozenges. They taste horrible, and screw up taste buds for a few hours, but they do work.
And knock thirty years off your age would be good. I am a well known non fan of Trumps but I would like to contribute as someone living in a malaria endemic zone. We do not and would not take HCQ as a preventative for malaria because of long term side effects of liver damage and hearing loss. Short term is OK but over time the risks rise. I would not take it in the short term for Covid-19 because the dosage required to do any good, theoretical or otherwise, comes with heart risks. At my age also heart issues are not welcomed. As a treatment under strict doctor supervision in a hospital I could understand someone trying it but not under any other circumstances.
Well, I am trusting that people will respond honestly. If you've reason to believe one side is lying then you must believe the other side is lying as well.
Again, some of those people, I'm sure, have the same opinion of you. In either case, no reason to lie on a non-public informal survey.
I agree very much. I took the stuff several times weekly for a year while in Vietnam. It never really bothered me, but I wonder if it wasn't responsible for the random premature ventricular contractions I developed years later, maybe 5 years.
