I found matching shirts for you and your mother.

I unknowingly went to see my granddaughter the week after I suspect that I was exposed to it. The odds of kids having serious problems with it are very small. That was 2 months ago and she is fine.

So somebody should definitely stay home. Any ideas on when somebody will be safe to venture out and interact with the general public? I think that somebody should stay home until 6 months after a vaccine has been found and administered to the majority of the public. It's the responsible thing to do.

~ Note the CDC has stated this is one of the worst flu seasons - yet fail to tabulate flu deaths to date .

If I am feeling perfectly fine and have no confirmation that I am infected or contagious, why should I be forced to stay at home and lose my job and possibly my home or cars ? Why can't people be responsible for their own health instead of at the expense of the healthy? If you fear the virus, stay home, wear PPE, or whatever means you need to protect yourself. Don't penalize me.

Why would they stay home if they got the all clear signal?

~ Paranoia. You could be exposed at any moment ! What if you touch a contaminated surface ? Somebody might cough ... the wind could blow the virus in your direction.
You could use a mask made in China that is not sterilized.
    :truce:The virus is sneaky ... :omfg:´

I risk my life all the time.

This one time I was hanging from a wench 30 feet down in a collection pipe where all the different sewer lines for a large city go into the treatment plant. Theres no real 'floor' as its basically just a bunch of smaller pipes (12"-36") going into a bigger pipe (80+") rushing way too fast to try to stand in. I had to inflate a pipe plug into a 12" drop pipe so we could swab the main line it dropped from. Once I inflated it I had to bolt a support bar over it before the back pressure built up enough to shoot it out like a cannon (all while hanging in front of it, mind you). Once it was in place, the sewege started spurting out of the main line 20 feet above me due to its flow having been so abruptly altered (imagine water surging back and forth in a half full 12" pipe roughly a mile long). All I could really do was dangle there for a few minutes until it settled into its new flow before I could be hauled back up, otherwise i would've had to be hauled past where it was spraying out.

    And that was before Cvirus.

It is! It's so sneaky I worry that it makes right wing brains explode in confusion! I mean, the virus could be controlling people's thoughts and actions, making them think reasonable policies like social distancing are actually a communist plot made by the Mars Communists! Liberty Prime did not give up his life for this!

~ This almost sounds as dangerous as driving the streets of Los Angeles ... :omfg:´
( or walking the sidewalk sewers of San Francisco )

I drive in Seattle a lot, LA once every year or so. LA is slightly more congested ime, but they don't seem to be in as much of a hurry and the roads in Seattle make way less sense the way they curve around eachother because of all the lakes and hills. I'll take LA driving over Seattle driving.

That was a reply to Krane56 who thinks he/she may be an asymptomatic carrier and wants to stay home so he/she doesn't get co-workers sick.

    Reference:
He/she should stay home because of the conceptualized fear involved. As for me, I've been going to work through this entire thing.

Suicided - Not much increased actually

Domestic violence we did expect to spike and have put extra resources in 0lace like thanking The gods we do not have a lot of guns in private hands

Government has put protections in place to ease us over the initial lockdown and we are now safely walking back on it

Probably when I need to pick up more food. Or when I get my next paycheck in the mail.

Thank you for not assuming. I use she/her pronouns.

If we don't, we won't be able to pay taxes to spoon feed Democrats.

Common sense and not needing momma government to wipe their nose..
Ohh andvthe fact no one has signaled an all clear..

Again the purpose of the shut down wasn't to make the virus go away. It was to prevent the hospitals from being overwhelmed.
There will never be an all clear unless we are able to develop a vacvine.
We cannot stay closed until then, it is an economic impossibility.

Yes, lots more people will die. There is absolutely nothing we van do about that.

    Edited from multi-quote by me.

Does anybody really need take out food? Lots of microwaveable foods, Ramen Noodles or produce available at the grocery stores. Some even pre-made fresh.

Does anybody really need a new pair of whatever, delivered to their home? Think of the number of people required to pull, pack, ship and deliver an online order. Those people are being 'exposed' so someone can have a new widget.

    That is want, not need.

Considering that blue states provide far more in federal dollars than they take in, and generally, red states require far more federal dollars than they take in, your statement issnt really factual. Its flyover rednecks sucking at the federal teat.
