Are you worried about election manipulation?

No, I think vote manipulation has been with us since the first vote for president. It is what it is. We continue to survive successfully as a country.

Would you be ok if we saved a lot of money and just allowed citizens within the city limits of LA and NYC to vote? That would get you exactly what you are asking for, without all the expense.

Ha! I doubt very much that Trump hates the Electoral College (which is REALLY how we have always elected presidents).

    Surprised? Re-read the Constitution....

That would be better than the Electoral College picking our Presidents. Look at what's happening now: a man who received 3 million less votes has chosen two Supreme Court justices and may get to choose a third.
The power of a President lasts for many, many years. So, the desires of the majority should prevail.

Worried, no. I agree both sides use all the tricks in the books to get their desired outcome and go over the line of legal/illegal or morally right/wrong in many occasions. The end justifies the means. This has been going on ever since I remember. Mayor Richard J.Daley of Chicago would never report Chicago's results until all the down state results were posted so he would know how many votes he had to make up in Chicago to win.

As for a honest election, we probably never had one except perhaps at the local level and then one side or the other usually resorts to some tricks if possible. We usually have our school board elections in July, we only around 10% of the eligible voters will vote. This way the school board gets the results they want by not waiting for November. Perfectly legal, but I would say a bit dishonest. This also happens on the SPLOSH tax also. Schedule the election during a weird time of the year so not many will actually vote thus guaranteeing its passage.

Perhaps I have just got use of all the shenanigans, I never expect an honest election.

    If I may ask
What kind of violence out of the right are you expecting?

I'm only asking this because I really don't have anything to go by as an example.

The majority of electors did prevail. We've covered this so many times. It's in the ... you know, the thing

I am not worried about domestic manipulation of the upcoming election..

but I am worried about foreign interference

every source says russia and china will interfere ...

last election russia made no secret of their desire for trump to win

this election china has said they prefer biden to win

    pick your poison

    who cheats worse??

trumps history of being a grifter makes me think he will cheat ..

and he was caught cheating in ukraine using taxpayer funds to influence the news

trumps enablers gave him a pass...but it was obvious he was trying to cheat

besides, trump has already refused to accept the results unless he wins

    kinda sad

Good question. A decent case can be presented that George Soros voting machines stole the 2012 election from Mr. Mitt Romney.

Almost all of Trump's supporters plan on voting in person and almost all of Biden's supporters, where they can, plan on voting by mail. Early ballot counting is illegal (so no head start tallying early votes) and the mail in votes have to suffer a sabotaged snail mail process. it'll be a week at least before we have reliable numbers.

If the polling trends prove true, Trump will 'win', possibly by as much as 80% then slowly that lead will shrink with Biden taking it (by 16 points if current polling trends hold) weeks later. To anyone ignorant of the logistics of mail in voting and/or the sharp divide in preferred voting method that's going to look extremely suspicious.

There is no credible evidence that election fraud is rampant in our system.

It's simply hilarious that you think that Trump (or any candidate) will have an 80% lead after the first 24 hours. It's never happened. It's not going to happen.

UP to, as in upper limit. And not real numbers, just based on poll data regarding voting methods. I fully expect the greatest landslide since Reagan's 49 state sweep for Biden but mail ballots will take weeks to count, precinct ballots will have results in all but 1 or 2 nail biter states by 2am. If polling trends hold, the only states Biden will have good numbers are where voting by mail weren't reliable options. If the media is irresponsible in their reporting, it'll look like a Trump victory to the uninformed.

Hearing it doesn't make it true. You're going to have to back that up.

That could be true........ I saw that as well but the mainstream media is great at covering up errors made by Democrats whereas if the GOP supporters ever did something like that we would never hear the end of it.

This one is public.... and is important for other reasons than the obvious.....

I believe that influential people in the area of Washington D. C. feared The Donald due to his unpredictability...... and the possibility of him actually attempting to drain the Swamp!!!!!?

They were correct to be scared of him!!!!

No I always expect it. I would be amazed if it didn't exist.

The desire of the majority does prevail, in each state. Just as the Founder's designed it...

The majority of the nation as a WHOLE should prevail, not each state.
