How is it a fantasy? There are thousands coming this way. We have NO IDEA who is in it. Security first. If people come here and want to be citizens, they need to do it the right way. I’ve seen reporters interviewing some of the immigrants, and they say they are just going to find a way to cross the river if they get stopped. This **** needs to stop, now, whatever it takes.

There is no evidence that terrorists who have usually entered the US legally and overstayed visas are suddenly changing their modus operandi, despite hysterical, evidence-free claims to the contrary.

Yes, the incentive to flee oppression and poverty in the hope of a better life for one's children is a powerful one that has little respect for bureaucratic prohibitions. How can the lot of desperate people be improved so that the need to seek a better life elsewhere is eliminated? Clearly, that's not easy.

Obviously, a comprehensive policy that anticipates far greater human migration driven by the consequences of anthropogenic climate change will be needed.

 

For starters, bomb out roads and bridges at key bottlenecks at key times that will add klicks, weeks, and physical difficulty to the invasion march. Bomb springs to take away potable water and bomb obvious food sources to make the march more difficult. Perhaps salt some streams also. Skunk odor is easily made; use it to spray the invaders from the air.

As much as possible try to avoid disruptions and death for Mexican citizens, but invade by air and put an imprint upon their sovereignty before putting boots on the ground.

Check results, escalate as necessary.

I cant's speak for your "left", but I never expected proof of Trump personally colluding with Putin's agents to be established. That does not negate the need to protect US security by exposing the methods and extent to which Russia conspired to undermine the US presidential election in 2016 to help Trump and hurt Clinton - as confirmed by the FBI, NSA, CIA, and the republican-controlled Senate Intelligence Committee. Not to do so would by an abrogation of sworn oaths to defend the nation.
