As if we needed more evidence that Putin is incompetent but thinks we are all dumber

First, it turns out the US warned Putin that an attack was imminent and he ignored it. That's the incompetence piece.

Second, now that it has happened, Putin says the terrorists intended to escape through the Ukrainian border with help from the other side, implying that the Ukrainian government was in on the attack. He actually thinks people are dumb enough to believe that.
