Publishing corruption is one thing, national secrets is another. If he is smart he'd stay away.

He did 7 years, which is a lot more than others have gotten. He should have said he was a republican, then he would have Ben pardoned without a trail.

How did Assange break any USA laws? He's not an American and his publishing hacked emails in a foreign country was less a crime that did the USA press and media publishing the same info. Assange did not break any USA law. What is the theory that he did? He's not an American and he didn't do anything within the USA. He is not obligated to comply with USA security laws as an non-American in another country. That's just nonsense since there is no allegation that he did any hacking.

    Then he is a spy.
Stealing top secret Govt. documents and releasing them would be a crime whether he was a citizen or not.

I believe the term is Espionage

He didn't steal them. He is no more liable for the content than the Guardian, der Spiegel, the NYT etc for publishing Snowden's revelations. He is no more liable than the Washington Post for publishing the Pentagon Papers.

We do have a free press in this country, despite Obama's desire to imprison them.

    I disagree with Trump.
    I also disagree with Obama.
Manning is a traitor. Snowden is a whistleblower. Assange is a... chaotic good.
