Opinions are like A holes, everyone has one and they usually stink. You can take your opinion and shove it.

Well, 102,445 of your neighbors have had different experiences than you, and that is just in 2012, through December 22, 2012. Add to that, another 102,269 of your neighbors in 2011, and, I dunno, perhaps you live in fantasyland. You know, looking at dumb luck and mistaking it for brilliance is known as hubris, not intelligence.

But isnt the campus a gun free zone? :O

This is what I am talking about, A fight can be clean and clear about 10 years ago (I am 27 and I remember getting into one on one fights)

No ones willing to get an a**whooping anymore and people get shot. Its not the guns fault the way its used. Its the dude who cant fight fair and when he goes to the joint. He'll learn.

Respect: I respect everyone I mean (younger or older then me) All my friends are in their 50's and up because I get alonge with them more then people my age trying to be "Hard" Thats what a lot of people need to learn and treat each other with.

Edit: I dont own any of those shotguns, like I stated I like more of a classic shotgun but I do own a 1911 and am happy with it :D

You have what you like and we have what we like. Just because we post pictures of our wants and possessions doesn't mean that we are any less entitled to our first amendment rights.

Would it be different if I had showed a picture of my pickup truck or knife instead of a firearm? Why can I show someone a picture of my kid or neice instead of a picture of my pistol?

    For example.

    I have this knife,
    [IMG]
I am not bragging I am informing like minded individuals that I own a knife and I reccomend it if they see it locally then can make an informed decision if they see it at a shop instead of saying "Who would use something like THAT" They will think, "well so and so has one, let me see why they like it" and check out the knife.

    I own this bike
    [IMG]
Does 75 mpg, Not the best for long distance but good for work.
Same concept, Someone might say "Who would ride this daily o.0" Now they will think, "Oh ______ has one, Let me check it out"

When you show a picture of your kid/neice/nepher/grandkids, Its not much more of "Hey look at my kid" Why is this more acceptable then "Hey look at the new ____ I picked up"

Should be not be allowed to talk about things we own?

    You certainly would know.

This is the kind of tactic that liberals often use. If you don't think exactly like they do, you are a racist, or you are somehow a deviant or stupid or lacking. I feel sad for you feel you have to resort to such tactics.

I don't believe I'm the first to point out that there is some level of penile compensation involved... You can't deny the inherent machismo related to "gun talk". Being dismissive of anything you don't like hearing (anything that doesn't support your world view) is the kind of tactic conservatives often use.

You are correct, you are certainly not the first liberal to use this sophomoric tactic.

And there it is.... Another perfect example of dismissing all "liberals"... After all, it's easier to dismiss someone than actually risk finding out some new point of view that may cause you to rethink your perspective... That's not what these message boards are for at all, they're for you to illustrate how virile you are by showing off the size of your gun...

Dismissing your tactic. Using tactics right out of Alinsky's book will be noted and pointed out.

Everything black (not people - I don't have many white friends and I would be all alone) should be illegal!

yea, they're so dangerous they account for less than 0.4% of firearm releated deaths.

actually, it doesn't seem that way at all. there are over 300,000,000 millions guns in circulation currently. there are 12,000 gun related deaths a year. that means that .00004% of guns are used in those deaths. meaning 99.9996% of gun owners are not criminals or maniacs.

How many crimes are committed by intimidating someone into compliance with a gun? Do you seriously think that the only gun-related crimes are those in which someone dies?

Besides, even if your numbers were correct, it doesn't address how many guns that are currently in circulation are just "dust collectors" that aren't used by ANYONE (criminal/maniac OR responsible person).

How many crimes are stopped by a citizen brandishing a gun?

Criminals don't carry about the laws anyways. How is banning assault weapons going to stop them from doing anything?

It will "dry up" the supply of "assault weapons." It's for your own safety.

So when was the last time an assault weapon was used in a crime that did not involve a nut case? Off of the top of your head! Don't search for it.

For our safety would be actually executing all murderers and punishing crime. For our safety would be going door to door and removing guns from felons.

(*)(*)(*)(*) if I know. I wouldn't ban any weapon if I had it my way.
