There is nothing "brain dead" about what I said. Political incorrectness has almost become more vile than terrorism.

Here's a question for you HonestJoe: an underground train pulls into the station - in one of the two nearest carriages to you there's man of Scandinavian appearance with a rucksack (A), and in the other one there's a man of middle eastern appearance with a rucksack (B). Which of the two carriages will you get into A or B?

Whether religious intolerance is wrong or not isn’t really the point. The point is that your resentment of any and all Muslims because of the actions of a specific minority is irrational, your “facts” are simply wrong and you’ve established no actual policy based on any of this to have any kind of practical impact on terrorism anyway.

Muslims have been living as minorities in various nations for literally centuries. Terrorism from Islamists in some of those countries is only a comparatively recent issue. It does not correlate with the simple existence of Muslim minorities, it correlates with socio-political interventions in the Middle East and North Africa. That’s why the vast majority of terrorism and general violence (including at Western hands) occurs there and why the vast majority of innocent victims are Muslim themselves.

But you don’t care about them do you? They’re not the same colour as you, they don’t worship the same god and they don’t come from within the same imaginary dotted lines on the map as you so to your mind, they barely count as people at all. Which is the same attitude that breeds terrorism and why people like you pose a similar threat to the rest of us.

I don't know about Joe but that exact situation has happened to me hundreds of times over the years. I get into the carriage nearest me. And believe it or not, I am still vertical and striding the earth like a giant. Some people prefer to live in fear. I think it gives their life meaning or something. Who knows?

My resentment of Muslims is over the fact that they seem to see nothing, hear nothing, and speak nothing about their fellow Islamic terrorists.

The carnage of the slow cancer of Islam
    http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2014/05/the_greatest_murder_machine_in_history.html

It is no wonder Hitler, admired Islam for the fighting machine that it was. The religion of peace has killed more 250,000,000 people throughout its history. In fact, more people have been killed in the name of Islam than all the people killed by Christians, and by totalitarians combined.

The Islamic conquest of India is supposed to have killed 80,000,000 people. In the conquest of Northern African and the Sudan it is supposed that 110,000,000 blacks were killed with 28 million blacks taken as slaves. Islamic Java was the biggest exporters of slaves in the 16th century. Aside from the 28,000,000 black slaves, there were at least 1,000,000 European slaves. Sexual slavery was common with the women taken as sex slaves, while the men were castrated and enslaved or killed. The 'mulatto' children born to the sexual slaves were killed.

No one knows for sure how many Buddhists were killed en masse in Tibet. And then there are the 1.5 million Christian Armenians that were killed in Turkey.

Let's not forget that at least 125,000,000 women have suffered through female genital mutilation. While the men are circumcised, the women to endure the barbaric practice of FGM.

Who were the real imperialists? The 'greatest' imperialists in history were the Muslims who spread, and are still spreading, their religion around the world. From its beginnings on the Arabian Peninsula, Islam eventually spread to northern Arabia, into Syria and Palestine. Then it conquered Egypt; and from there went into North African. Then on to Spain, Iraq, Nigeria, and further into North and Central Africa. Their imperialism then took them India, Asian, to Turkey, and now they have a foothold in Europe, a growing one in America, and in places like Australia. Their conquests have never been peaceful.

What, you've seen trains with a Scandinavian in possession of a rucksack in one carriage, and a man of middle east appearance in possession of one in the adjoining carriage hundreds of times? Do you seriously expect anyone to believe that? DUH!

That’s truly not a conscious consideration I’d think about and I lived in East London for a long time so it’ll be the kind of situation I’ll have been faced with plenty of times.

There’ll be hundreds of thousands of passengers travelling on the tube every single day, of all sorts of difference nationalities, races and appearances. There’s been one attack involving three bombers and one of them was Jamaican so avoiding passengers of “middle eastern appearance with a rucksack” doesn’t strike me as a very efficient of effective tactic (especially if all you’re doing is getting in to the next carriage).

You obviously haven't traveled much. I don't consciously think about it, to be honest, because it seems silly. But I've been riding trains, subways and buses in dozens of countries for a very long time. Often in Muslim countries, often in Europe and often in Asia. Don't base other people's experiences on your fears and prejudices.

I strongly advise you to never leave northern Idaho.

Until relatively recently I used the London Underground for years and 'didn't consciously think about it', but I bloody well would these days. You call it 'living in fear', I call it having the intelligence to watch out for warning signs and take avoiding action if I notice any.

I didn't say anything on the morality or unbenevolence of banning travel based on religion, but rather emphasized on its infeasibility. It is not a policy that can be realistically practiced

It’s perfectly rational to take measures to minimise actual risks but the risk of a suicide attack on the specific train that you’re travelling on is tiny and avoiding anyone who (you think) looks middle eastern with a rucksack isn’t even a rational way to reduce that risk. It would also be totally impractical, especially in areas with large Asian/middle eastern populations. It’s like saying women should avoid getting in to a carriage with any men to prevent rape.

You sound like on of those people who disrupt a flight because they overheard a couple of brown passengers speaking in an foreign language.

Sonia Kruger the tv host referred to in this thread is still as free as a bird and she's still has her job, it contradicts your statement about it being more vile than terrorism... you're over the top
Below VVV ... merely your own opinion, I disagree, clearly you'll disregard all evidence of mental instability to support your hatred for muslims

Good luck getting around London without using public transport. You'll be using cabs so much you'll probably qualify to drive with The Knowledge. I still call it living in fear.

You know and come to think of it, this woman is still alive and that's a hell of a lot more than what victims of terror can say... you're statement is ridiculous and quite insensitive

There are two main Islamic ethnic groups in China, Uyghurs and Hui. Both groups have over 10,000,000 people. There are also a few other minor Islamic ethnic groups like Kyrgyz, Tajiks, Uzbeks and Yugurs.

Uyghurs have been fighting for independence for centuries and have been responsible for quite a few attacks on Han Chinese and infrastructure.

    Good for her.

I can't wait until they're banned from America.

Which I guarantee will happen sooner or later.
