Does that mean you're okay with Muslims spreading religion by the sword? Do you feel that Muslims are fighting Christianity,or Christianity fighting Muslims or that everyone, religious or not, is now effected by Islamic terrorism and being murdered by them?

So go to a Muslim-controlled country wearing a cross, preach the word of god and see how much respect you get.

Their religion in itself is a human rights issue.

What Muslim mistreatment in the west? And yes, there is much discrimination from Muslims against non Muslims. You must know that.

I wouldn't say "entirely". Those books offer precious information regarding the culture, language, traditions and everyday life in certain periods in certain places.

Islam has nothing to gain from a comparison between religions. What is the past of Christianity and Judaism, is very much the present for Islam. Victims of Islamic terrorism couldn't care less about acts of atrocity in the name of Christianity six centuries ago. We live here and now, we must care about what is happening here and now.

The only positive outcome of a comparison between religions is the understanding of the mechanism behind religious reforms. Let's hope that Islam is following the same path as its predecessors and will reform itself from within.

Burka is used to oppress women. It has no place in civilized societies, regardless of any security risk it may or may not pose.

I see them regularly and always have this sense of pity but stay silent. However I was in city traffic a while back following a women in full burka and it kept slipping down to where she had to shift it so she could see, and of course the car would shift a little also.. Perhaps this is a reason why women are not allowed to drive in some Muslim countries.

myths are often a mixture of history and fiction, I agree, interesting reading as it gives you a feel for the times

I disagree, we look to history for similar event on how to address events in the present, Christians have a similar history - I do hope the Muslims violent fanatics become as rare as Christians, we still see some violent Christian fanatics, but not on such a large scale at his point in history, and hopefully that will never change, these things seem to come in waves throughout history, sadly time seems to be the only real cure

what I really do not want to see is a religious war between Muslims and Christians, that would be bad for everyone, lets keep the war with the violent fanatics

another religion Christians have attacked in this country is the Peyote Religion, that is one religion you can not practice in the privacy of your own home unless your Indian, meaning not only does it violate our religious freedoms, but is also a racist law banning this by race

If you're suggesting that we will suddenly start churning out middle east style and they'll dry up, that's a bit ridiculous. OK, assuming that the patently obvious to every rational person reading this apart, apparently, from yourself, ie. that we carry on as now, it's a mathematical certainty. Unless we get hit by a meteorite or any other batshit lunatic scenario you might also want to proffer.

You always so paranoid? I didn't know I needed to define it.

I still don't care, I do the right thing, I don't drink, I don't steal, I pay my taxes,I don't commit assault and my property is threatened, my children's lives are threatened... hell yes... put the cameras up, catch the bastards. In this scenario I believe the good outweighs the bad.

    1. It is not a mathematical certainty, all the other stuff you have written is just deflection to cover your error.
    2. Europe is not occupied by any definition of occupied, again everything you have written regarding me is an attempt to cover your error.

Please stick to facts and avoid obfuscation.

The only problem I have with this law is its banning the use of surgical masks outside hospitals when there are people infected with TB or other diseases that are transmitted via coughing etc

I estimate three more large-scale attacks like the one in Nice and the movement to mass deport all muslims will gain momentum.

The simmering undertone of hostility is there and increasing, with the broad European public having seen muslim responsiblity for the following in the news:

    - the Rotterham rape gang
    - the mass New Years' eve attacks in Cologne
    - vast increase in Swedish rapes/crimes
    - thousands of burning cars in Paris
    - no-go zones across Europe
    - multitude of terrorist actions like the car attacks and Charlie Hebdo, the attacks in Spain, etc,.

and the publics have reached a point where if not for the sc-mbag leftist Euro media working overtime in accordance with their masters in the political elite to divert and deflect the public's anger there would ALREADY have been a major uprising to rid the continent of islam and all muslims.

But, the wonderful thing is that muslims are muslims, and will do their very best to prove me right. Just give them time, and a few more hundred bodies, its inevitable because thats what islam is, and what muslims are.

That is not possible, as anyone who knows what islam/the quran is considered to be by muslims: the word of allah himself, which means it is inviolable and can never be re-interpreted or revised. That's why 300 years after the christian reformation none are in sight for the death cult islam, one of several reasons which justify my claim that it is a death cult.

There is only one path for mankind; utterly destroy islam - or be led/forced into conversion and submitting to it, the muslims will not compromise, ever - and neither will I.

The question is are there enough people in the West sane like me who see islam for what it is, because Western civilization depends upon there being enough people like me with clarity of vision.

I don't use social profiles. I treat my cell phone like it's a bug- I never say anything near it I would want to keep a secret, and I leave it at home if I'm trying to hide.

As for me: I don't want to live in a world where the feds come to my door because their spy cams caught me smoking a joint in my backyard. I don't want a world where I can get shoved into a black site and tortured because the government noticed how many communists I've been speaking with.

Fact is, I'm a criminal and so are you. My crimes are fairly obvious, petty drug crimes, some shoplifting in my past, I don't try to hide the fact that I have done some shady ****. But there's thousands of laws in the United States, you're bound to be breaking one. All that stands between either of us and prison is the government not looking hard enough and not caring enough.

And yeah, I'm probably not the best person, but I'm not some hardened convict. I do things that are barely rebellious- I wince when I throw a punch in self defense because I just hate people suffering that much. If I don't belong in prison, you sure as hell don't either. But we're insects compared to the vastness and inhumanity of the civil government apparatus.

Well I'm pretty divided on this.
Austria had to do something to draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough, but I'm still wary of yet one more law and people's freedom being taken away (and individuals not having the legal option to conceal their facial identity in public, if they so wanted to choose for some reason).

Of course most progressives on the left wouldn't be able to understand either of these reasons.

(Wow, maybe that's one example of the left being simple-minded and not understanding subtleties, since Democrats accuse Republicans of being like this all the time)

    A fourteen-fold increase since the 1980s.

Think about that. And that's only a small sliver of the population.

I bet the rape rate would be sky-high in Pakistan too, if women ventured outside their homes alone and didn't wear burkas concealing their entire bodies. And if women bothered to report the rape, because many won't out of shame in that culture, and there have been many women that did report being raped and then were punished or even killed for it (something that seems unfathomable to us but is indeed very prevalent in that society). Well anyway, the point is that women in many other parts of the world have adapted to the danger, and that's why the rape rates are not higher. Or the rapes go unreported because of their culture.

Would you tell your family about being raped if you feared they might "honor kill" you for it?
    http://hbv-awareness.com/rape-victim-faces-honour-killing/

Yes, the niqab face covering is partly a cultural response to the extremely high danger women have long faced in that part of the world, and is a defense against rape.

Well yes - if they didn't want to wear it they wouldn't? You're spectacularly missing the point.

According to many on this forum, Muslim women are forced to do a lot of things they don't want to do. Which is true in a lot of cases. My point is there are some women who honestly want to wear a Burqa and believe that it is the most appropriate thing for them to wear. What is wrong with that?

Would any human, raised as a free person, want to have their body entirely covered 365 days a year no matter the occasion or the heat of summer? I doubt that.

When you see Muslim men- who seem irrationally fearful of women and their bodies- wearing the same head and body coverings then you know there may be a point to it. But until that happens it is a crime to have that done to anyone, and it should be stopped.

Sorry but if I need to explain it more than I already have - that it's a willful affront and a provocation to non-Muslims/non-Islamists and therefore highly socially divisive - then you'll never understand what I'm putting across.

I can't answer your question because I'm not a fundamentalist Muslim. But if other people are, who are we to tell them what they can and cannot wear to the grocery store? I don't want anyone telling women they can't wear booty shorts to the store, or that men can't wear baseball caps and sandals if that's what they're into. It has to work both ways.
