Baboons keep dogs as pets.

    I find this rather interesting. Some baboons kidnap feral dogs and raise them as family pets to ward off other feral dogs and keep watch.

    Ack.. I am truly afraid of baboons since having a pack of them charge our bus at Al Sooda park.

    I would like to know more as well, like what are they fed and how did it originate. Baboons are used as watch pets by humans as well. Wonder if humans domesticating them as watch pets had anything to do with, or if the behavior was picked up by observing humans. Very interesting, even though the puppy crying part was hard to watch.

    Baboons running wild around Paris sounds like it could be a good idea for plot of the next "Jumanji" movie, but it's actually happening.
