Telling me 90% of pollution is caused by fossil fuels. Of that 90% 98% is caused by Crude oil and its derivatives. So to combat all this pollution we are banning Coal. (for the mathematically challenged less then 1% of pollution) (disclaimer the numbers above do not accurately represent pollution levels.) IT is ineffective feel good legislation that is being used to gain a foothold on taking away guns. Homicide rate has declined every year in the united states. Gun ownership has gone up. You cannot use europe as a model for a multitude of reasons. The first being none of them have a second amendment.
