Do you support a ban on abortions?

No. There are some occasions I can support or not oppose someone getting an abortion.

So, when you say that same-sex marriage should not be legal, you don't mean that?

You've got it backwards it's not that if you are a Patriot you are a Christian nationalist that's not it at all what it is if you call yourself a Christian nationalist that doesn't automatically make you a Patriot

So the OP is a straw man

No matter what he claims I would question whether Jimmy Carter has ever been a Christian or a patriot.

    WTF?

You question Carter's lifelong commitment to being a Christian? On what grounds?

On grounds of the policies he has advanced.

And being a "lifelong" commitment means nothing.

How many millions of North Koreans died due to his "peacemaking" efforts in the early 1990s that prevented President Clinton from moving against them?

How many will probably die in the future?

Since I believe the science view that life begins at conception, yes I do. It is capriciously arbitrary to say that the procreation act of two human beings is not to also be considered human as well in order to justify murder until some later convenient date when the only possible outcome short of murder, illness, or accident is a human being.

So, what's the answer? How many NKs died? Please provide a link that supports your contention, although I still fail to see what this has to do with Carter's faith.

The opinion article is exactly right regarding each and every point made with in it by the author who as a leader or retired one of the nations largest Protestant denomination would know about the subject

In reality the Left did not invent the phrase 'Christian Nationalism'. In the 1950's and 60's there was a fringe right-wing organization called the Christian Nationalist Crusade. It was segregationist, anti-Semitic and even opposed jazz music. I had wondered if this is where the Left got the phrase. Here's the Wikipedia article about the organization:

At least two million. Probably more.

if Carter had stayed on the sidelines where he belonged, the Clinton Admin. would've gone to war and destroyed the NK regime and the millions of deaths (almost all civilian by the way) could've been prevented.

Thank you for the article, but it doesn't answer one iota towards your claim of Carter's policies. In fact, the bulk of that article is about the 90s famine in the DPRK, and if you recall, Carter was NOT president in the 90s.

So, go back to chucking things at the wall to see what will stick.

    You don't remember do you?

In the early 1990s (1994) IIRC, the U.S. was on the brink of war with North Korea. So instead of allowing it to simply play out, Carter comes out, runs to North Korea and gets the NKs to make some trivial concessions that gets the Clinton Admin. to back off.

Are you under the ludicrous belief that a war with DPRK is winnable?

Are you under an even more ludicrous belief that we couldn't win? Remember in 1994 the North Koreans didn't have any nuclear weapons.

It is apparent you do not have a full picture of how NK is intrinsically tied to China and Russia. You may think starting WWIII is insignificant, thankfully, most people don't.

This isn't 1950. Neither China nor Russia are going to fight on behalf of the North Koreans.
