Ben Carson Says 'God is Still in Charge'

“Dr. Ben Carson, secretary for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on Friday said he "became desperately ill" with COVID-19 but hasn't given up hope because "God is still in charge."

Carson announced on Nov. 9 that he had tested positive for the infectious disease after he began experiencing symptoms indicative of the coronavirus.

In a Facebook post, Carson praised President Trump, members of the White House medical team, and the remarkable doctors at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, DC. for their care and compassion.”

God most certainly is in Charge. I’m happy that Dr. Carson is fully recovering from the China virus. He is a great man. God has used him to do crest things for others to reduce human suffering. I’m glad that President Trump made available the same treatment he received when he had the disease.

 

Dr. Carson is right! Also this was intended for the covid -19 section

 

OK maybe God is still in charge but why did he have to screw up and let the Chinese create this Virus that killed so many people and made so many suffer. If God wants to maintain his reputation as a good guy he needs to knock this creating Virus crap and reign in the ChiComs.
And don't forget to smack Putin down until he is 2 inches tall.

 

Then all suffering and death is gods fault.

 

We live in a sinful world. People have free will to do good as well as evil. Good people can loose their lives to bad people doing bad things. Natural disasters affect good and bad alike. Sin will run its course until the 2nd coming and then all who are saved will be given eternal lives. The ideas is to be ready for that event when it happens or that if we pass before then that we are right with God when it happens regardless of the cause.

 

Only according to those who want to blame God for the effects of sin which is a rebellion against Him and for Satan’s acts and the acts of humans yielding to his temptation. Humans blaming God for the effects of his own rebellion is Satan’s greatest deception.

 

Either gods in charge and thus to blame or he's not.

 

God might be in charge but that doesn't mean that Ben Carson isn't a stupid man.

 

I can never understand people who praise god for their good fortune. If god is responsible for Carson surviving covid, he would also be responsible for people not surviving covid. If that were the case, then god would not be the merciful, all-loving god portrayed in the bible, but rather a spiteful god, who punished some while saving others. It is not logical.

In real life, it is rather a lottery. Carson was lucky to survive the covid lottery, despite being reckless in not protecting himself. Others DO protect themselves, but still get it and die. Life is not fair, no matter whether you pray to god or not.

 

Ah yes...the ole god should only get credit for good things and no blame for the bad. What a crock of ****. I thought everything that happens does so because it’s according to his plan? Well, is it or isn’t it?

I agree education is over rated as regards to intelligence.

However, he was a very successful neurosurgeon. You don't do that by being stupid. Disagreeing with the left does not make him stupid.

 

Right. However, disagreeing with the left and getting Coronavirus is.

 

And therefore that is the all and the end all? Right? Catching the virus erases all the good he ever did in his life and that makes him stupid. A classic example of the left's thinking.

Two questions. How many lives did Ben Carson save as a neurosurgeon? How many lives have you saved? Now explain your concept of "stupid".

 

No. What is asinine, is denying that is "group think".

 

What some people seem not to grasp is that very smart people can still do very stupid things. Like making sweeping generalizations.

 

The famed neurosurgeon may need his foot surgically removed from his mouth. Every time he talks about his positions and beliefs, he embarrasses himself and his party.

 

As a cop for seven years in Detroit I can take credit for saving some lives. Question for you; how many lives has he or you taken because of spreading the Virus?

 

Of course it does. Do you think a person with an IQ below normal could succeed at medical school. You can say he lacks common sense. That has nothing to do with intelligence. But stupid doesn't work.

 

According to the left, cops don't save, they kill.

None. People have personal responsibility for protecting themselves. Another difference between the left and the right.
