Well, Jen Psaki, for the first time I now eagerly await your next press briefing just to hear what kind of fable you're gonna try and put over on us about just how you wound up 'under the bus'. I'm sure it's going to be memorable, either in it's major stretch on the truth, or more likely in it's glaring omission as you work to steer all discussion away from that little faux pas..

Boss-man just threw you under, admitting to the French press that he was totally clueless about the preexisting nuclear sub deal in the works between France and Australia. You remember. . . . the one that John Kerry said Biden was not aware of until he (Kerry) brought him up to speed on the issue soon after the French Ambassador had packed up and left in a huff. You know. . . the one that when the question was put to you of why Sleepy Joe had no idea that he'd stepped on international toes in reference to John Kerry's comment during an interview, you haughtily retorted that the inquiring reporter should go back and re-review what Kerry said, because ol' Joe had 'of course' been aware of the deal since day one.

How's your backstroke, sweetie? Hope you can see through all the egg on your face.

He should care when his actions squelched a potentially very lucrative contract negotiated by France to sell nuclear powered subs to Australia which, by his lack of knowledge of the deal, made the action appear as though the U.S. had little or no regard for France, one of if not the oldest ally we have, and thinking only of ourselves. If for no other reason at all, he should care due the basic appearance of 'diplomacy'.

However, in this particular instance while in no way diminishing the weight of Biden's misstep, my comments were aimed much lighter, in a more 'Friday afternoon' level of gravity, towards Biden's Press Secretary, Jen Psaki, who from what I've witnessed has a penchant for almost instantly dismissing most any inquiry on a subject which could appear to be a, shall we say 'shortcoming' in the nation's leadership, often retaliating that whatever the issue, he's actually been aware of and hard at work on it 'from day one', and at times with a pretty obvious 'air' that suggests we are all thought of as having been born yesterday.

I'm sure, no matter their job title or position, that all White House staff and employees are in ways expected to 'run a little interference' for the occupant of the Oval Office, and understandably so. The success of the highest office in the nation is never just the President, but relies a great deal on those he (or she) selects to serve in those positions around him. But in doing so those persons, much as I cringe to put it in these terms, need in many ways to be the most talented and convincing of actors, or their rhetoric will soon be rebuked as nothing more than 'lip service'. And in my opinion anyway, Ms. Psaki lacks the presence needed to hold the stage in a barnyard production of Charlotte's Web.

Why in holy hell would a president need to eavesdrop on our allies? Remember Obama's administration was caught eavesdropping on Merkel? It actually started under the Bush administration when the then German chancellor refused to support the invasion of Iraq.

Meaning link to my speculation about her 'performances' lacking sincerity? Err, no, sorry; not especially being a fan, I've not had any desire to record or keep any of her 'work' myself, lol. But I imagine I should be able to locate some of my reference around here and add it for your viewing, um, pleasure. I'll see what I can do.

I would be far more concerned about the Chinese reaction to this than the French reaction.
