    What is it you do not understand about how misleading that is? Trump's administration was interrupted by the pandemic. The average would not be representative of conditions either before or after the pandemic.

    In times of pandemic, tyranny performs much better than democracy.

    Look at China and how they fight the Covid. They immediately react to any Covid wave without consideration or mercy. Democracy is nice when you can afford it. But otherwise, it may kill you.

    China can't easily switch back to freedom. That's a big problem under Communism.

    It would be better if we had a more flexible system. Freedom & democracy in good times, but harshness and relentlessness against fools and enemies of state when our existence is threatened.

    Our inflation is in great part fueled by our corporate greed and stock market greed as many corporations are reporting record profit margins driving up their stock prices.

    No tyrannical state can easily switch back to freedom once it gains power and control. That's why you should be VEHEMENTLY OPPOSING IT HERE by refusing to comply with tyrannical dictates such as forced mask wearing and forced vaccinations and covid passports and the like, which will "switch [us] back to freedom"... Tyranny is already here, dude.

    So why are you supporting it HERE?? Why are you supporting communist Demonkkkrats??

    Who gets to determine "good times", "fools and enemies of state", and "when our existence is threatened"?? Why not freedom all the time??

    The Romans did this first. And as I know (and you said), they failed to revert to democracy.

    A flexible government that is fair and humane, but can be tough and merciless in exceptional situations, is an unsolved problem. A fleeting dictatorship raises many contradictions. First of all, how can it be made possible to peacefully remove a dictator who has absolute power?
