At this time Biden and Trudeau are INCREASING the cost of owning a home.....

... a friend of my wife here in the Greater Toronto Area said that she and her husband had an increase from five thousand northern pesos per month for their mortgage up to seven thousand per month.........

.... On the other hand Multi Billionaires who go looking for a good deal on companies to buy can pick up a large company with thirty five thousand employees for a fraction of what it might have costed a year or two ago........

In terms of the overarching issue, digital currency after all the shocks to its system of late is still years away from being years away for that to be a real possibility.

 

If the revolt against a digital currency at this time is fairly serious......

and then a digital currency could well be DELAYED by a decade or more........

With the coming of the collapse of the petro-dollar, the advent of digital currency is the next best thing if not better for the banking cartels and their globalist chums. Just another form of currency that has nothing of intrinsic value attached to it such as gold.
One nasty surprise with CBDCs is that they are programable, so if you don't play ball or by the globalist rules, your bank account filled with digital currency can go from your current balance to zero. This has already been demonstrated in Canada with the current financial medium (the trucker's convoy/protest and their supporters being locked out of their bank accounts).

 

I think it depends if the government uses it as a bank-to-bank transfer system only.
It would be good to do it that way while opening up decentralized crypto for wide use by the public.
