So, when a woman couldn’t get her own credit card without a man’s permission, couldn’t be raped by her husband, could be fired for being divorced, could be refused housing for being single? Yeah, I agree it was a great time for white, straight, Christian males. Is that what MAGA wants? That period of time wasn’t so great for everyone else.

It's telling that after the TEA Party and after getting their asses handed to them in 2012 and the Trump election in 2016, nether the Democrats nor the establishment GOP have a damned clue as toy WHY so many people chose MAGA over the status quo. What's worse, this speech and the general accolades for it belie the fact that neither Democrats nor establishment GOP types care to even ask why so many Americans are pissed off at them. Stuff like this just reinforces all the reason that so many of us have so little faith in government to serve anything other than more government.
