he explicitly said they were good people on both sides of the debate and then he very specifically said he was not talking about the Nazis. But yet here you are dutifully repeating and shilling the LIE. I hope you're getting paid and I hope it's worth your integrity.

Is this also part of that famous 'research' you tell us you do so often?

That's because you deny anything you don't want to hear, and support anything you want to believe.
I don't see any value in such perceptions other than to feed your own ego.
    They give you zero cred.

Maybe if these political candidates would stop lying about what they can or can’t do, perhaps more folks would pay attention. Presidential candidates make it sound like they can achieve all these things on their own. I will, I will, I will, I promise, I promise, I promise. When in reality they can’t. How about I will try or I want to do this or that. Believing them is a fantasy.

Then how are you going to hold a president accountable? You listed the below as Biden being a failure at.

    Protect Roe v Wade

    Protect Democracy (voting rights)

    Fix healthcare (significantly improve it)

Mitigate the effects of AGW (achieve the goals in the GND appropriate for his time in office)

Protect Civil rights (LGBTQ rights and take noticeable steps towards ending institutional racism)

Bring ALL the criminals from the past administration to justice.

So, Biden has been a failure, you want him held accountable. What’s the only way to hold him accountable? Vote for his opposition, vote for Republicans. If you don’t, you’re not holding him accountable, you’re giving him a pass and accepting failure. In our two-party system, you either vote R or you vote D. If you’re part of the party faithful, a loyal democrat, you’re going to vote for him and democrats regardless of how many failures they chalk up. That isn’t holding them accountable for their failures. That’s encouraging them. I assume, with all the connotations assuming has, that you’re going to vote for all the Democratic candidates this midterm regardless of all the failures they rack up. That’s not holding them accountable, at least in my book.

Me, my most important issue is inflation, rising prices, empty store shelves. What you listed is all secondary to irrelevant going by the polls as it is with most swing voters or independents. I think swing voters will hold Biden and company accountable for their reaction and failure to fix what most of them view as this nation’s number one problem this midterm, inflation.

Already giving up on the mandate are we?

Who can blame you? Oh Joe sure ain't nothing to write home about! But I guess if your goal is to bring America down in poverty then I guess he's doing pretty good there.

How is that NOT promoting white supremacy? I mean, it's not as direct as Tucker Carlson's propaganda. But those kind of things are what make white supremacists cheer for him.

Off topic but... I don't know of anybody "condemning" Trump for Operation Warp Speed. But the fact is that, other than signing off on it (and then putting some stumbling blocks in its way), he was just a bystander.

Uhmm... no... Pfizer had a vaccine. But Pfizer's vaccine had nothing to do with Operation Warp speed. In any case, Operation Warp speed did produce many benefits. But Trump's anti-Covid propaganda did (and is still doing) more harm than any good he did for the policy.

Anyway... that has been amply discussed in the Covid Forum. This is about Biden's mandate.

He WAS talking specifically about the Nazis. That was on of the "both sides". Anyway... different topic. There is a thread about that somewhere else.

The mandate is for Biden. Not for the people. Focus!

I don’t think a post on PF adds much if any pressure. In other words, Biden and company have you and others wrapped around their little finger. You aren’t about to change support of Biden or the Democrats. They know you’re a sure vote for them. They don’t have to worry at all about you abandoning the Democratic ship whether Biden and company does something about your list or not.

I wouldn’t abandon Biden either to be honest if he goes up against Trump or a Trumper again. But I have no qualms voting for a Republican for congress or for the senate to send a message saying I’m totally dissatisfied with what you’re doing and not doing. My way of showing I’m holding him accountable. Then again, I’m a swing voter, loyal to no party or either party’s agenda. Heck, Biden and company ignored inflation for a year, saying it was only temporary. Only once Russia invaded the Ukraine did they finally start to address it, if blaming the Russians for the inflation is what you call addressing it.

I’m different from you as I didn’t expect much of anything from Biden. He was to be a transition president between Trump and whoever comes next. Once he defeated Trump, his job was done, mission accomplished. Now smile, behave as an adult and act presidential until 2024. If nothing gets down between today and 2024, I’m fine with that. I didn’t expect anything to get done. In 2024, I’ll decide which direction the country should go, which agenda to support and go from there.

The premise that Biden had a "mandate" is pure hogwash. The entire campaign was an anti-Trump campaign, fueled by planted disinformation, criminal plots, slander and the distortion of values, telling people to ignore big issues and get outraged over everything small. Run by people with a total lack of moral compass or love of country or respect for the citizens. That we know is true- because anyone not in that state wouldn't do what these people have done.

Anyone honest with themselves sees and knows Biden in in a state of diminished capacity. Not advanced, but more than enough to make him unfit for the job, and that was true during the campaign as well.
Biden has coveted the office of president for a long time- first trying in 1987, then again in 2008 (separate from the Obama vice presidency). Over 30 years trying to win the title... not exactly the sign of a man who ever had what it takes. NO serious candidate has ever campaigned by staying home in his basement, and damn sure could not win that way. This was Biden's last shot, and he sold his soul- assuming he could remember he had one- to get it.

Aside from what he once was, which was clearly not enough- what he is today is far less. "Build Back Better" is only a campaign slogan; already dead and absolutely nothing of substance has come from it. The real Biden slogan is "Lower your expectations". MAGA was a slogan too- but one with far reaching implications for the future and for the people themselves, advocating strength of our citizens as well as our nation, pride in doing our best, leading the world. Real leaders seek to make us more- not less.

A wise man knows that only someone strong can help others. When a nation is populated with weak and dependent people, they can't help themselves, let alone anyone else. However, turning people into sheep, lowering the bar and making them dependent- means they have to vote for whomever promises the fantasy of saving them. Along with that weakness and self-doubt comes crime, corruption, distortion, injustice- loss of hope and the destruction of freedom itself. Biden is the puppet personification of that objective. It's happening; in the news everyday.

No president in history has attacked the values and strength of the American people- except Biden. Perhaps- that was his perception of a "mandate", because that is what he has done.
The left started that as a way to weaken the MAGA objective- and it needed someone to push it through the election. Some one desperate enough to self his values for the job; someone inept and gullible enough he could be used and manipulated.

That is what an independent person with an unbiased mind can see- and knows it's true. Others.... deny and lie about it, but they know too.

So you can cheer for the worst loser in the history of our presidency..... In a free country, you are entitled to advocate any "truth" you want to invent. So far we are still free- But Biden's team is working to change that. .

Very honestly, I don't see how the criticism of any country is the same as promoting 'White Supremacy' -- but -- you're right in saying that I've veered off topic, and I should admit it.

As far as I'm concerned, Joe Biden didn't promise ME, or anyone like me, anything! His 'pitch' was to radical Democrats, the far-Left, the 'hate-Trump's-guts' crowd, and other WAY left-of-center dreck... so, the truth is that Joe Biden didn't promise to do anything beneficial for me -- and he sure as hell is making good on THAT. If you guys out there on the far-Left are unhappy with him, you have my sympathies. Truth? Trump was actually fairly unsatisfactory to a lot of us on the Right also.... As my German friends muse despondently, "Scheiß egal...."

That is the narrow-minded response that I expected. I have shared this position many times with in this forum, and others. As well as with friends and family. If I can convince 2 people, and each can convince 2, and those 2 can convince another 2... how many iterations do you think would be needed to reach the population of the US.? I would do the math but... it's not as many as you probably think.

Since I don't need to convince everybody, but just enough to get their attention, I have quite a bit of leeway.

And that part of his mandate, getting rid of the criminal, he has fulfilled. Now he needs to fulfill the rest, if we are to consider his Presidency a success...

The rest of your rant post has nothing to do with this thread.

Calling them "s-hole countries" is not a "criticism". It's an insult! And a very racist insult.

I know. You didn't vote for him. this thread was mostly intended for those who did. Not to mean I don't appreciate your feedback. But I was just setting the basis for what a Biden Administration would need to do so that those of us who voted for could call it truly successful.

Your thinking has nothing to do with this thread, other than to prove it more hateful propaganda.
Biden is the criminal. US Code 1324a, immigration law- aiding, harboring transporting etc any person in the country illegally, which means any who have not cleared the port of entry and process.
He's violated this thousand of times now.

The only mandate Biden has is to work respectfully with all of the branches to govern within the limits set by the Constitution. He has NO mandate to transform the country through executive orders and administrative fiat.

Nothing compared to the power of your denial.

I believe you are a basically intelligent person. Why you can't get a better grasp on reality- I don't know. I usually ask myself where my head would have to be at to think or believe like someone who thinks differently, and that method works pretty well as understanding their motivations. There's this huge conflict in what appears you potential for understanding should be, and where you seem to be at. The only thing that makes any sense if you are really angry with the rest of the world; that allows people to reject all values and measures. Just my best guess.....
