    Don't quite believe that. Can't imagine the Germans are in favor of Russian assassinations or the annexation of the Crimea, or the fighting on the eastern Ukrainian border. I would guess Germany supports a pro-EU and pro-NATO Ukraine. In fact, if you google the latest polling of German foreign policy attitudes by the German think-tank Koeber-Stiftung, think you'll find both a down tick in German feelings toward Trump, but a slight up-tick in the importance of U.S.-German relations. Don't entirely disagree with your last sentence, but still believe Germans probably feel closer to the U.S. than either China or Russia.
    And, of course, a down-tick regarding Trump is certainly not unique to Germany.

    Thats a life choice in Germany, all you need to do is to walk into welfare office, sign a paper and you get a flat and monthly welfare money.

    I have never before seen such extreme poverty in my life than when i was in USA. You have a level of poverty that is simply unknown in Germany or in western Europe in general. Thats a simple fact.

    Let me tell you a secret. We give a **** about Ukraine. We give a **** about Crimea. Thats non of our business. Russia killed a chechen in Germany. It saves us welfare money paid to foreign vermin, there is no big outcry in the population here. Infact there is not much outcry about it at all.

    Germany has interests, Russia has interests. We want cheap gas.

    USA turned more and more hostile towards us. It would be idiotic not to be careful regarding that. Economic minister Altmayer openly said USA is not much different than China or Russia regarding that.

    Sorry we dont share your paranoia. Germany is a economic supergiant, Russia an economic dwarf. The idea of an russian attack on us is laughable. A nation that owns hightech and 2000 tons plutonium is untouchable. Its that easy.

    We dont need US nor NATO. We could leave NATO completly and nothing would change. We have NATO around us. To get to us, Russia would need to walk through Poland and other NATO countries.

    THAT would be freeloading. We are not like that and because of that we support it at an absolute minimum.

    How idiotic to say. Merkel managed to cut migration by 97%. She does a harder anti migration policy than Trump. While USA is flooded each day by up to 15.000 illegals, migration into Germany grinded down to almost zero.

    It doesnt matter what Merkel wants. We have a massive far right. Government parties are scared and implement more and more harsh laws. deportations, funding of libyan war lords to get migrants away.

    The funy thing is, africans and arabs now fly mexico, because Trumps lame immigration control. Their entry into Germany is blocked. New target is USA.

    Biden is leading the pack because Democrat voters, apparently, are slightly racist. They have a beautiful woman of color, Tulsi Gabbard, who actually would give Trump a run for his money, running who they ignore and keep this old windbag of corruption at the top instead. It may not be, but it sure looks racist/sexist to me and a lot of others.

    Economicly the EU and China dominate in a way that they have become untouchable by you.

    When trump tried to sanction EU, EU did strike back at same height. Same did China. USA influence has shrunken enough to push it out of its former status. It doesnt even have the power anymore to block a German-Russian oil pipeline.

    We see Trump as old and senile. We laugh and move on. In some aspects he is even helpful. The massive Airbus domination that unfolds now is partly possible because Trump. Since China orders no Boeing anymore.

    Militarily its the same development. Because of that Iran and others become more bold. Kim in NK and Iran know Trump is nothing but hot air.

    In all fields US military doctrone failed. Putin got Crimea. In Syria Assad still rules.
