America won. The Trump nightmare is probably over but the degree to which the Republicans won in most other races sent a clear message that the far left Progressives are not what the country wants either. Republican voters felt okay crossing parties to vote for Biden but had no intention of solidifying Democratic majorities in the House and flipping the Senate for them. So not only did we(presumably still at this point in the process) get rid of the international embarrassment that is/was our 45th president, the Democrats got a spanking that could very well lead to at least some of the party shifting back towards the middle. It already looks like that's a feeling floating through the Democratic party, and it's one I certainly agree with. I for one don't want the only viable alternative to the Republican party to be a party that thinks we can get rid of cows and gasoline while defunding police to be replaced with "community policing". Nutty that stuff is. And more and more Democrats are starting to understand that.

America may well have won bigger than we have in any recent election.
