The UK gets worse and worse. From the country that can charge you with violence if you defend yourself with a book. Internet activity 'to be monitored' under new laws
An obvious and sensible next step . If telephone calls are monitored , which they have been done for years , only a bunch of half baked clowns would not secure the Internet in the same way and as far as possible . There will be those who squawk , but "real politic" is concerned with protection rather than futile symbolic gestures supposedly supporting Free Democracy ( a fantasy notion ) and imagined " Free Speech" with the joke being on the word , Free .
Where is the protection ? so many people are dying with out any reason ? the pick pocketer is killing and carrying the gun with out any license is this is the protection for the public?
Yes like I say myself... UK a Truman Show. Big Brother? That's too little said. You could even compare this with the monitoring system in George Orwell's '1984'.
The "legislation" is EXPECTED in the Queens speech of this Conservative government. That's a thin basis for such a handwringing thread.
