I wonder if the tank's cannon counts as an assault weapon?

This sounds like a rich and powerful man who doesn't want the little man to have any weapons. I'm shocked I tell you, shocked that he could feel this way.

Gerad Miller? I think you are confused, I could not find anything on a Gerad Miller.

Really? Cops need *anything* that will protect them? How about carte blanche to do whatever they want to whomever they want?

You are an enabler of the out of control cops. Enablers should share the blame for the people cops murder.

Fancy foot work there, reminds me of Michael J. Fox dancing at the bar in Back to the Future 3 right before the old man says "You better run squirrel!"

The Las Vegas murders, Cliven Bundy, the militia movement and the NRA

How is it that a pair of people can walk down the street with a shopping cart full of guns and ammunition and that is considered not a sufficiently noteworthy or alarming thing? Those weapons were used to bait and kill police officers.

to answer you question. Nope. It is a Right, not a privilege. It also requires a registration base and that is illegal. Your support for reducing Rights to privilege is not astounding, many little petty dictators want something for nothing.
And never assume anything about me. You referencing me to support your lame post is not uncommon and always a mistake.
In other words...... post, not the poster!!!!

bravo, so you agree with me, background checks are a violation of the 2nd.... thank you, not many republicans do.... most republicans think owning a gun is a privilege

(and back at ya) "Your support for reducing Rights to privilege is not astounding, many little petty dictators want something for nothing."
And never assume anything about me. You referencing me to support your lame post is not uncommon and always a mistake. I support the 2nd 100%
In other words...... post, not the poster!!!!

btw, many disagree with us, in fact most do.. most think owning a gun should be a privilege... which is sad

"Poll: 92 percent of gun owners support universal background checks "

    http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-brief...un-owners-support-universal-background-checks

92% of Gun owners think others should not have a right to own a gun.... imagine that.... the old as long as I am privileged enough to own a gun, I could care less about everyone else, those people have no right to complain when it's their guns the gov comes after

sadly most republicans and democrats support background checks to prevent people with past mental issues or criminal issues in their lives

I think the founders made it clear that this should be a right for all free Americans and not a privilege... at least you and I can agree on that, even if most wont

I am of the belief that all free Americans have a right to protect their homes and families with a gun if they so choose

Personally I do not, however, being a law abiding citizen I have to follow the law, don't I?

The fact that I obey laws probably contributed to the government's decision that I pose no threat to society and issuing me a CHL.

Personally I think everyone in America should have a gun.

a poorly written piece with not one shred of evidence that the two of the meth heads pushed any cart down the road, over-brimming with firearms. And of course, the source is an anti-gun site driven by anti-gunners. Oh no, they would never lie.........of course not.........:roflol:

A link to the Daily Kos? Thats your proof, a link to a prog PR site whose sole purpose is to lie and smear conservatives?

And did you even read the "article"? What a ridiculous piece of BS.

And by the way, Gerad Miller was asked to leave the Bundy Ranch because his behavior was unacceptable - Miller was a convicted felon and was speaking about violence and escalating the situation.

It sounds so sensational to write "a pair of people can walk down the street with a shopping cart full of guns". Its nothing more than exaggeration - standard procedure for Kos and progs.

You really, really, need to check out your links and facts before posting. Although I like it when "progressives" continually undercut their credibility by posting exaggeration and lies, at some point the mercy rule should be invoked.

Yes, that's my proof that Jerad Miller is a human being who exists. How do you propose that I prove the existence of a human being?

You're welcome to prove it wrong... but you won't.

Do you think that Jerad Miller was the only convicted felon at the Bundy ranch? They are a bunch of wild animals.

Does the truth hurt? They had a shopping card full of guns and ammo. Why are you suggesting otherwise?

Here's what needs to happen: the police need to take out these anti-government nuts by all means necessary before they can harm more cops or citizens. Ideally, they'll be bombed to a pulp, but I guess knockout gas is more safe... as long as they end up with a slug in their head(s).

Wow. I can't believe anyone is denying this incident. Anyway, since you want a more credible source, here it is:

Two Cops, Three Others Killed in Las Vegas Shooting Spree

A Las Vegas couple who shot to death two police officers, a civilian and themselves delivered an ominous message before they left home with a shopping cart of weapons to carry out the anti-government ambush, a neighbor said.

"We gotta do what we gotta do," Jerad Miller told Kelly Fielder, adding that he and his wife, Amanda, were departing for an "underground world."

Amanda Miller then embraced the neighbor and said, "I am so sorry."

Authorities said they believe the Millers were acting alone but they espoused an "anti-government, anti-police" ideology with militia and white supremacist overtones.

Investigators were looking into possible links between the couple and some of the groups that converged on rancher Cliven Bundy's property during his armed standoff with federal rangers over land rights.

Fielder said she had heard Jerad Miller make anti-government statements in the past — including a desire to overthrow the government and President Obama and kill police officers — but was not alarmed by them.

If that's not good enough for you, then you'll just have to google it yourself.

It's a shame that the anti-government scumbag Jerad Miller wasn't taken out before he got a chance to set up his ambush area. It's amazing that somebody can walk around with a shopping cart full of guns and ammo and nobody seems to care. It's about time people notice these kooks and deal with them the old fashioned way.

Why not buy tanks? Easier to drive into schools and blast away. Probably kill more people from the outside as opposed to using a bushmaster.

I'm not against the police unloading into these wackjobs.

A private citizen tried to shoot them, but like a typical vigilante, he got himself killed.

Who shot who? This information wasn't in the link.
Adding a few brush strokes to make your story look good or what?

Those two anti-government radicals shot the police. You said that you "heard about" this event, but you apparently did not.

Anyway, a swat team came and killed those two anarchists out before they could kill more cops.

And please use Google and stop making me explain things to you.

obviously an artistic licensing taking place here, there was no mention of this event.
I don't have a problem with the two being put down. But to correlate this to the Bundy thing is .....well. ... quite a strectch even for you. Obviously they were at Bundy's party, but they were run off. Guess that makes the Bundy party better than these two.
and now you resort to attacking someone who had nothing to do with this in any way shape or form. Just like GZ, Libs find it hard to let go of something once they get their cutting teeth into.
Now, prove Bundy had anything to do with this.....

Why? I didn't say that Cliven Bundy was involved in the murders. You've mentioned him more than I have. The Millers were at the ranch, though, so they may share a common anti-government mentality.
