What do we know? First a little supposition. Pelosi brought this bill to the House floor for vote within days of the defeat of the Democrats in Virginia, and the squeaking win in New Jersey. Across this country, the liberal agenda was defeated. I guess even Pelosi can see the writing on the wall.

The Bipartisan bill is the result of a group of members of Congress from both sides of the aisle. They met with Biden, and worked out this bill. I can say, that I do not support a lot in the bill, and I think it is far too costly for this timeframe. It definitely stretches the definition of the word "Infrastructure". But I do salute the process that went into it. We need to return to the days where the two sides come together, and pass bills that are not one sided. You know back before 2006.

So, who won in all this? Obviously, the big loser was the squad. They wanted Pelosi to hold the infrastructure bill hostage for the passage of the socialist spending bill known as the Reconciliation bill. (Strange name. It does not reconcile anything. Reconciliation is a process in which one side hijacks the legislative process, and passes legislation without the support of the opposition party. It should be known as the "Ramming it down the Peoples Throat" process.) Now that the Infrastructure Bill has passed, it cannot be used to leverage bring the socialist bill to the floor. On the other side of the aisle, there are the 13 RINO's that voted for the bill. They will face a GOP support for opposing candidates in their next primary races.
