The term "von Neumann architecture" applies to the vast majority of computers regardless of brand. I have gone to shelves about computers in bookstore and libraries and pulled out book after book and looked in the index. I recall one case where I was 2/3rds down the shelf before I encountered his name. When I checked the page it just listed him among other early developers. The vast majority of books are mediocre to crap.

I was just surprised that the biggest computer company in the world, which they were at the time, didn't mention him though they hired him.
