There are many more Democrats than Republicans.

So I think Bloomberg has a much better chance of being elected than Trump at the beginning of his campaign.

one NY businessman against another. That'll be interesting. His shifting political allegiances could be used against him (or he could use them to show he isn't 'partisan') but economically more blue-dog then Leftist.

Definitely takes a few of the Rs talking points away from them. I like it.

How can Dems believe that Bloomberg is their savior? If they call Trump a wack job, well...

The liberal left is so fickle! We hate Trump. Let's get our own Trump to beat Trump. Yeah. That's it.

We can only hope he does run. It all depends on who the DNC picks.

Bloomberg was a life long Democrat that re-registered as a Republican in 2001 and then re-registered as an Independent and now re-registers back to a Democrat.

    LMFAO!

What an unstable which-ever-the-wind-blows mess this loser is.

So, basically he was always a Democrat at heart and all this re-registering over the years was a charade to try and fool the voters and sadly many stupid voters were fooled.

I don't think that he would have a chance at the Dem Nom.

    That said:

If he is willing to spend a few hundred million bucks to see his name in the paper, why not?

I wouldn't worry about Bloomberg. Rich old white guy is the last thing the democrats will vote for. Maybe a middleclass old socialist white guy but not a rich old businessman white guy.

No, but he's a gun grabber, yes.

But I doubt he'd have much of a chance UNLESS the economy tanks.

And then still almost no chance.

Yes, sadly concur. The country has more libs than conservatives.

Whether you like Trump or not...a vote for Trump is a vote for America. To vote dem is to vote to destroy America.

When you vote for Trump you are voting to preserve American values...plain and simple.

What helps him a lot is that he's not a mysogynist and a demagogue.

So financial success is no longer a factor of credibility for the Conservatives.

Considering that Bloomberg is a much better businessman than Trump.
