Conservatives having a hard time separating fantasy from reality? Pretty hilarious.

And? Is there a point to your post? The last republican president was a recovered alcoholic and many believe a dry drunk as well.

Separating fantasy from reality, in reference to the Democrat convention ? :roflol: What a charade for the past four days.

What's really the story behind the story ? The Hollywood left are still happy as clams that one of their own still remained in the Hollywood limousine liberal camp. Everyone knows if you're not a liberal you can't work in Hollywood.

Republicans don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) if Cooper is a liberal, they just took it as granted that he was. Cooper pretends to be someone he isn't and gets paid for it. Hillary and the DNC does the same thing

It's the liberal media who's running with this story because the right really don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about Cooper or the Hollywood left.

Didn't you get the word from the Obama White House ? Not Americans but hyphenated -Americans, African-Americans.

You do know the federal government designates people by race, ie., the census, right?

Or is this just another attempt to whine about blacks?

But the Obama White House has ruled that the federal government can no longer call Orientals Orientals, that blacks in America must be called African-Americans even if the black is from the Melanesian Islands or Australia. The word jihad or jihadist can no longer be used

Pretty basically, all Americans are required to become hyphenated -Americans. All Orientals are now Asian-Americans making Americans of Pakistan or India decent Asian-Americans.

Apache's, Comanches, Mojaves, Kiowa, etc. are no more, they are just Native-Americans.

And if your a Moke (Hawiaian) not any more, in the name of political correctness you are a Hawaiian-American.

There are probably a lot of conservatives who would be shocked to learn that the actor who played Archie Bunker was actually a liberal Democrat.

But nothing. Check Article I. That would come from Congress, not what you claim Obama said. If you're mad over this non-issue, take it up with Congress and stop crying about blacks.

True, it was written by a progressive with something like thirty liberal co sponsors and only two Republican co sponsors.

They say the only reason it passed was because to was an election year.

I don't think a Pakistani approves being called an Oriental and Chinese still continue to call themselves Orientals.

Obama should have vetoed the bill.

Basically is revisionist history, rewriting America's history in the name of cultural-marxism.

I just recently watched that movie "American Sniper." What I saw was a designated rifleman not a sniper.

This fascination for snipers began with the millennial generation after the publishing of a few books on Carlos Hathcock, the Marine Sniper during the Vietnam War.

Hathcock had 93 confirmed kills. During the Vietnam War for a Marine sniper to get a confirmed kill there had to be two witnesses and one one the witnesses had to be a commissioned officer. Hathcock says he has between 300 to 400 kills. Hathcock usually operated aloan or with his spotter deep in indian country looking for high value targets (officers)

Hathcock was that sniper who shot a NVA sniper right through the NVA snipers rifle scope.

During the American Civil War, snipers were despised as being low life murders.

During WW l and WW ll snipers were shown little respect no matter which side they were on.

Vietnam, mixed feelings. Nobody liked or respected a NVA or VC sniper. But we had counter snipers on the wire at base camps and fire bases who looked for snipers and took them out.

Some Marine rifle platoons and rifle squads has designated riflemen who were armed with M-14's doing what you saw in the Movie "American Sniper." Taking out threats from a distance and protecting his Marine buddies six.

The snipers who went out in the bush, hey they did their own thing.

The best counter sniper weapons platform was the ONTOS. If there was an ONTOS in the base or camp, no sniper problems.

The ONTOS, someone said they were obsolete after being given the credit for winning the Battle for Hue and they were deactivated and scrapped.

I have a 8 mm film I took of an ONTOS in Nam firing all six of it's 106mm RR. I've shown it to over a dozen Marine officers who saw combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Their response were "They sure would have been perfect for Afghanistan." "Wish we had some ONTOS during the battle for Fallujah." or as one Marine Major said "Every time the United States gets a weapon that works they call it obsolete and get rid of it."

Have no idea what millennials see in snipers.
