There were no attempts to "to establish forward-operating bases along Russia’s western flank " or "encircle China in order to control its future growth". US can turn down any growth of China just banning China export to US, it would be catastrophe for China economy, no need for single base.

What Im sick of is being accused of 'Russian propaganda' for saying things that were common knowledge before Russia invaded, but after became taboo because people today need 'the bad guy' to not have any legitimate claims because their fragile sensibilities cant handle the complexity of the situation.

Putin can be (and clearly is) correct that the west is trying to make a Russia-less world it can dominate, and at the same time its still wrong and evil for Putin to invade Ukraine over it.

And You did not read Brzinsky book, so You don't know what he has written there.
