    This "new" border wall construction is to replace old border wall.

    Donald Trump's wall is still at the design phase. Donald procured prototypes of what his wall was going to be. Congress gave him millions to accomplish that.
    All the prototypes failed Corps of Engineer's testing.

    Donald's definition of what a wall is...has changed and his designs have failed.

    It is hard to keep up with Donald Trump's realities....there are so many different versions.

    A month ago Donald Trump had a real problem. Donald did not complete his greatest campaign promise. ...to build his border wall.

    Today all of Donald's problems are over. Today Trump informed his supporters that he's been building his wall all along. Problem solved.

    Winning.

    They failed some requirements to varying degrees. The big one for most of them was accomodating a slope up to 45 degrees.

    As it stands, Trump compromised on what Homeland Security and Border Patrol says is needed and that is what is being built now, 115 miles I believe. The current budget request is for 230-235 miles of replacement and new bollard construction that both is see through, accomodates slopes, and is easier to repair if needed.

    They are building some new wall replacing vehicle barriers that can be walked through. Arizona I believe.
