    Campaign Finance: No corporate money or money that comes from unknown donors. If it seems like fishy money it probably is. If you are not completely transparent about finance then you most likely are lying about a lot more. Corporations are not people too they are faceless entities that only care for making more money, any benefit gained from these giant corporations in most cases is purely accidental, or a PR gimmick to soften their image. Harbor no illusions profit is the bottom line for them, not people. Read up on the Robber Barons and the great depression its all happening again. Shady business is never good business and I do not know why it is tolerated if you have no morals go live with the terrorists we dont need you or want you. Politicians are "civic leaders" and as such should not ever accept corporate money and should be held to a higher standard in general. They do not need the backing of corporations, they need common men to step forward of their own free will and vouch for them. People who can tell the public of their good civic works and selfless dedication to society. Its not about how well you have done for yourself its about what you have done to help others. That is the job of a "civic leader" to serve as an example to others and lead the way to a better tomorrow. If you cannot do that then you are not a civic leader you are a pirate taking what you want when you want and to hell with the consequences. We used to hang people like that.
    I know that nepotism and favoritism ruled early governments and some modern ones. That is why I am also in favor of making the work day of all politicians 40+ hours a week minimum, reducing the amount of income a politician may have to 200k per year, and decreasing the number of terms that they may serve in the same office to two. This will not solve the problem but it will make it easier for those that are not doing their jobs right to be identified and removed from office, and make it unprofitable to be in politics. A "civic leader" should never ask to be in charge he should do it out of duty, just as Washington agreed to be president out of civic duty.

    By its very definition a corporation is not a person and is separate and distinct from its members. Corporations exist to protect their members from prosecution under the law.

    An unions? Especially, government employee unions, that contribute to those politicians that give them higher pay, better retirements, better medical at little to no cost.

    Unions would not be necessary nor government oversight or even government. If we could trust people in business, but that can never be possible and I will explain why.

    Capitalism is based in the idea that if we open up markets and let them do as they please then the consumer benefits from better prices. However if we look at history even modern history we find the opposite to be true, if we allow them to most business and corporations especially will set prices lower at first to eliminate their competition. (I.E. Walmart moves into an area and lowers its prices to the point where no other store can reasonably compete then after the competition is out of business prices just go back up. Clever no.)

    There are laws against monopolies however they are largely impotent to stop this practice as we saw with Microsoft. People are more clever than that and use technicalities to avoid punishment.

    There for they must be regulated by an impartial government or civilian civic agency.

    We simply cannot trust Big Business to do the right thing in a system based on greed and human nature we can only expect them to prey on society. Removing regulation just opens the door to Wage slavery, Child labor, and a myriad of other abuses that are inflicted on the worker. Like it or not unions and government over sight are still required. The true solution to the problem will only come with a fundamental change in the way we think. Its not just about what we have its about every one and what is best for all involved. If you don't believe you are being preyed on see Bulldogs views on the economy.

    As for health care I will just post my rant on that.

    Healthcare: This is a basic necessity of modern life and as such should be provided for those who cannot afford it, or would you prefer i send them to your house so you can watch them die. For those who like saying people from other countries come here for health care even when they have socialized health care check this. Why do they come here? Because their government said we cant afford your operation, well guess what that's your HMO's job here. Nothing will change except we will all get to see a doctor and for a change the rich have to wait in line like the rest of us. For those that do not think health care is necessary try living with out health care for a few years on an income of 12k per year then tell me I am wrong. I bet the first time you have a bad tooth you come begging for help.
