good for you. The vast majority that oppose it, do so on religious grounds.

And they try to use government to do so. See Kim Davis in KY, or Judge Moore in Alabama.

Where in the h**l does that come from? Not once did I ever state that a state-sponsored or controlled was correct. I have always said that men and women in their pulpits have to right to voice their beliefs and recommendations as part of the First Amendment protection of Free Speech. That government uses fear of financial loss to try to influence them is a form of tyranny that has no business in our representative republic.

However, the founding fathers were, Deist. Or Masonic if you like.
Maybe it was NOT the God of Judeo Christianity but, acknowledged a "higher being"
Witness from the Declaration of Independence -
"The Laws of Nature and Nature's God"

If the writings, papers of the authors of the Constitution count for something,
such as the Rights of States and Individuals
They need to be acknowledged for their Deism. Not Atheism.
That no One Brand of acknowledgment of a higher being becomes a, "State Church".
They did NOT deny the existence of a higher being, consciousness.
    See the diff?

    Lord Bless :flagus: again
    and the Judeo Masonic influence
that financed and guided early :flagus:
    financed, look up Haym Solomon

    Moi :oldman:

Another Jew, who "Got It". He wrote it!
