This story doesn't directly discuss GM foods, but one of the biggest GM foods is "Roundup Ready" crops. These crops allow the use of yet more of the polluting herbicide to control weeds but not affect the cash crop. This is a problem with free-market, informed consumer ideology and it kinda sux.
